Exactly How Writer's Block Works

A point well made about writers block, it isnt always a mental block it refers to. Someties you just dont sit yourself down and go at it.

Just for the record, dishwashers use less water and cleaning materials than doing it by hand. Also, new modern dish washers use much less energy and if you always have a full load, it works out a lot better for the environment.

Remember I'm living in London. We're one of the few so called super power countries that aren't compulsory green. In Germany you have too. Here you have to in some parts and in the other parts they make it really easy to by having separate marked bins almost every where. And you're just reminded of it a lot more. But face it, in America we a have leaders who simply don't believe all this evironmental stuff.

That's not writers block, that is just cleaning up a bunch of unfinished tasks to free your mental energy to focus on writing! At least that is what I tell myself.

I laughed so hard when dish washing led to you taking a shower. Have you read John Perry's work on Structured Procrastination? Tomorrow you'll probably paint your house or wash all your windows. It's amazing how much we can accomplish when faced with a blank page or canvas. I loved this video!

I know cause I am the king. I have a novel I started in college (1984) that is still only 3/4 through and in its first draft. Was going to finish it and then I discovered YouTube. Hopefully someone will finish it after I am dead. Now, that's avoidance. :O

Email me the play and I'll have a look. I used to write them again in college. I'll even wave my usual editor's fee, but just for you. :)
