When we compare cannabis to alcohol it makes cannabis look bad. They say "Pot is less dangerous than alcohol". But that still makes cannabis sound as if it were dangerous, just not as dangerous.

By comparing cannabis to pain medications, we imply that cannabis is medically beneficial without damaging your body the way addictive medicine can.

The alcohol argument implies recreational usage while the medicinal argument implies healing and pain control. Anybody agree?
