  • beautiful song. still so pertinent to the media and politics these days

  • I haven't heard this song since the very early 70's - but it's stuck in a dark little spooky spot in my mind ever since.

  • im not an expert but my take on the lyrics is that shes basically singing about the natural law of consequence and karma, that evil deeds done by a person will accumulate over time and inevitably come back to bite him/her, wether they like it or not. The use of the imagery of a wheel spinning is sort of like a warning to an impending danger or doom in the future,as the wheel of time spins and spins, nearer and nearer will we come to the day where we will be judged.

  • great song :)

  • Buffy never made it big time like the people like Beyonce...but she sure is a lot more talented and could write lyrics and sing like hell! I think new musicians today need to go back and listen to Buffy Sainte Marie, Judy Collins, Joan Baez and Joni Mitchell.

  • THIS SONG IS SO TRUE ABOUT WHATS GOING TO HAPPEN

  • this songs the only thing my old man ever gave me in life and it almost makes up for it lol

  • this song is weird, i don't understand the meaning of it lol

  • I first heard this song when I was leaving home. Now that I'm here, the song remains. It is as real and true now as it was to me then. BeautifuL.

  • Sorry about the triple post; it didn't look like it was posting so I kept correcting it. I don't know how to remove them.

  • Correction to lyrics: "Teach your children WHO to hate..."

@ghostflowerashes66: This song scares me even more now; it's truer now than when I was little.
