  • "birds" is better!

  • i just had a orgasm

  • I'm seeing them tomorrow in Brighton! I can't wait!!!!

  • T.H.I.S..I.S..M.A.G.I.C.A.L.. seriously, this competes with burial's 'unite' as one of my favourite songs. ever

  • Comment removed

  • like clint mansell and nick cave!

  • This one reminds me a lot of Clint Mansell's work.

  • I listen to hardcore and all sort of techno but the cinemtaic orchestral touches me everytime. Damn they are brilliant!

  • Could burst into tears when listening to this... It reminds me my grandmother...

  • I loooove the bass in this song

    :F

  • As I listen to this, I keep waiting for that huge, dramatic swell in the music, where everything just brightens up, like when the sun finally comes up. But the music just keeps building in intensity. It gives me a weird feeling in the pit of my stomach, waiting for that to happen. It's unexpected for a song called 'Dawn,' you'd expect it to be more lighthearted, but it's so deep and dramatic. But I think that's the reason I like it so much.

  • I've been listening to this for the past hour, it is brilliant! Brings so many images to mind. It just seems to create a perfect moment that brings everything into focus. It allows for conclusions and begins to happen simultaneously all the while giving substance to so much more.

  • Thank your for uploading this. I only just discovered Cinematic Orchestra and their music is breathtaking.

  • was this in a movie? I feel like i've heard it something but I'm not sure what.

  • @thenameslaurence Yes I have the same feeling..

    I immediately thought about Avatar.

  • Beautiful...

  • superbe makes me proud to be a human

  • I love how it gets bright and brighter on the screen.. :) love it.

  • I've got tickets to see them at the Royal Albert Hall in London in November.

I think it will probably be one of the most moving things I've ever experienced.

  • I feel like I'm with the nature....wattah blessed feeling

  • merci

    thank's

  • Would be great to just lie down and listen. But I'm in a rush ):

  • god the music is breathtaking. its so simple but incredible. i absolutely love it. it gives me chills

  • thank goodness for Ninja Tunes!!!!

  • i get shivers when i listen toi this track

  • masterpiece

  • i think im gonna start actually buying their songs. gotta support unequivocal talent.

  • so good

  • please give me link for free download this song

  • @ociokas123 Why a 'free' download? Start paying for beautiful works of art!

  • @BertLeysen

I second that. If you respect good art, do your bit and pay for it. Would you like to walk up to the orchestra and tell them you liked their music so much that you just downloaded it all? I'd be a bit embarrassed doing that. Musicians really have a hard time finding money these days. Do your bit and help them make more music by buying music. It really makes a musicians life a whole lot better.

  • While I agree, it is hardly your place to comment, nor mine. We are both here to listen to the works of Cinematic Orchestra for free. If we had paid for the album, there would be no need for us to be here. Judge not, lest ye be judged yourself. :)

  • @LiberatiRex :YEs.... BUT!! It is pretty likely that someone hearing this great band may well like them, and buy the CD or PAY for a download!!

You tube is good for musicians & their art. I have gotten turned on to a LOT of great music thru YT.

  • @timjmoran ...totally agree ;o)

  • @timjmoran

im one of those people who jus heard of this band and will gladly PAY for an album.

support artists and buy their music, unless its music made for the charts then ripp away!

  • agree....

  • cheap skate

  • soundtrack of the movie called "wolf creek"

  • @scoookyyy :O intense movie. I saw it last week, but I found this band after watching a beer commercial or something.

  • @Hamburgler55 I think it was a Schweps ad.

  • crazy movie.

  • reallllyyyyy, i have heard this sound in one movie, or sound very, very similar to this, but i cannot remember the movie... but i remember i like it too, can someone help me?

  • this song is from the movie "man with a movie camera" (from1929;orig.silent movie) cinematic orchestra made this soundtrack additionally in 1999.

  • ya, i like this group. i can feel the music hitting me, especially that standup-bass!

  • i love it!! It is very similar to music i heard in a movie or serial but i cannot remember... maybe someone could help me??

  • Twin Peaks?

  • you mean main theme? i know only that... maybe u r right but i need to listen song u think about

  • I agree-it is an almost more ethereal sound than that though-an awakening to a new plane of existence-dawn is a beautiful name for this piece

  • A very astute and eliquent description it seems to me that in my interpritation of the music that as the name suggest an awakening a the introduction of light into darkness but otherwise a magical piece of music.

  • that's the beauty of the music-it seems like it would be from in a movie--but then you imagine a scenario all your own-great music to write to :)

  • nice song!

  • all the Cinematic Orchestra are nice...

  • this is such an amazing song i can listen to this all day i also like there song to build a house these are my two favorites songs

  • I also love "To build a home", both them are amazing. Have a good day!

  • @docnelly haha same the only 2 i listen to really

  • ultimate chillout sound... I also like the picture. are there pipes on it?

  • Yes, there are.

  • Sans conteste le groupe le plus étonnant, le plus brillant et sensible que j'ai découvert depuis bien longtemps. Un extraordinaire talent !!

  • this song it's..great..so beautifful

  • I agree with you, Andutzu007sniper.

  • when I hear the song I must always think of my childhood

  • this is possibly one of the best combinations of music and film i've seen, the music is self explanatory i don't know why this image is so damn compelling though.

  • Thanks a lot for the comment, Miss Brightside91, I REALLY apreciate it.

The picture was also taken by me, at 8 in the evening, in summer. It is from a piece of open ground in Valdemoro, Madrid.

    Thanks again for the comment.

  • i completly agree. i keep expecting that sun to rise with the music. but it doesnt, and that makes it so beautifully sad.

  • oh man, if god made music...surely it would sound like this

  • Yeah, this sound is wonderful.

  • lol john getting all emotional on us ;)

  • And if the musicians of Cinematic were twelve, they would be his apostles...

  • Then they should be 12 hehe.

  • Thank you for this video. Watching nature at work, patiently. I faved it because it was the right video at the right time. I find this artwork very mature, especially the little "waves" in the music served as progress thru repetition.

But then again, everyone sees what they need/want to see in an artwork.

    Sissy

  • Thanks a lot for your comments, I really appreciate all you say.

As you have said, "everyone sees what they need/want to see in an artwork."

I aspire to do useful creations, creations existentially useful.

  • I love what you say. If those creations are useful for you, they will certainly become useful to others. Each in his or her own way.

You're a man of wisdom at a young age. I guess your mature wisdom was sharpened by your life or the place you live in. At the same time I'm impressed by your wisdom, I appreciate your ability to utilize the hapenings of life to a development of a useful way of thinking.

    Peace,

    Sis

  • THANK YOU VERY MUCH, you are the kind of person that this world need: modest, kind and sincere people.

  • Your comment is VERY meaningful to me.

We are not born what we are, we BECOME what we are.

A valuable man of honesty, kindness and sincerety you happen to do a collabo with is a main factor in my becoming the person you got to know today and to him is my thank you.

By the way, I find you too to be a lot alike in the mind, and that's my favorite part of the person :)

    Peace,

    Sis

  • Both, you and me, share the humility, thats one of the most important things. Humility means wisdom, wisdom means knowing that we know almost nothing. I think what move us is Love and/or Ignorance.

  • When love is combines with ignorance it can turn into ignorance in action. I know what it looks like because I've been there.

But the more you struggle to learn, the stronger, more powerful and wise you get - and the best part - you are able to LOVE.

Just talking to you today gives me that power.

RIGHT NOW we know almost nothing. And still, we know a little more than we knew before.

That's good enough a reason to GO ON STUDYING.

Peace to you, and keep on keepin' on

    Sissy

  • I would say the same you have said, but no so well. Thanks again.

  • :) Well, I'm a writer, you're a musician - the essence is all the same tho

    You are welcome again ;)

    Sissy

  • great music

  • for fuck sake. it didn't even get started. what are you doing???

  • what do you mean?
