  • Legend has it that cerberus guarded the underworld a.k.a hell.

It makes sure no one who was a bad person when they were alive can get out. It also makes sure no one who was good in their lifetime can get in. Yes,I like to read about cerberus.

  • I am a cerberus lover.I want him to be real

  • There was a two headed dog that was born in .. Germany i think, but it died after 2 months i believe.

  • I believe he IS real.

  • Rayne SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET!

    5/5 fav and sub! :3

  • Thanks for watching and the comment.

  • Rayne: no problem!!!!!^^ cerberus is one of the best mythilogical creatures in my opinion!^^

  • fuck god

  • they died due to disease and eventual distruction of their enviroment. Dinosaurs had a larger reigning tim on this planet then we have. Compaired to them our birth as a species is a dot. They were quite sucessful as a top reigning species and their "clumsyness" had nothing to do with it. Besides they would evolve into a better organism given the chance if that was the case.

  • There a bunch of creatures that we don't know about, creatures so strange and unimaginable.

I heard in a different vid that with each shift the earth makes(tectonic plates),a portal is opened which allows things from different dimensions through. This is happening more and more which would explain all the strange shit we see now.

  • Why did people downgrade your comment? Seriously people, stop being such assholes. If you don't agree with something, just don't watch a video like this.

  • Because they're ignorant, they possess the same mentality of scientists which would be "if I can't touch it ain't real" bullshit. But we'll see who's wrong in the next few years now won't we? :)

  • dude, tectonic shifts don't open portals to other dimensions. They've recorded thousands of plate shifts and the most that ever comes out is magma.

  • cerberus kinda reminds me of my dog

  • you got a three headed dog too?

  • yes doesn't everyone have a three headed dog?

  • alright nrivana, been a son

  • 0:54 is from Kingdom Hearts in the Olimpus Colisium

  • it exist but not like what u think it is....scary and savage.

  • good song!

  • It's fluffy (from Harry Potter)! 1:04

  • someone ought to photoshop one out of scooby doo or that beagle that won the dog show. or badass to model one off the dog on the thing

  • at 1:00 it looks like its out of silent hill.

  • 51s outta ff8 =D

  • i thought ceberus is a cat

  • nah, the cerberus is a canine.

  • the one at 00:51 was from god of war2.

  • cerberus is a pretty mean, scary looking dog. a challenge for any hero im sure. I especially like you can summon gim in FF8, too bad hes not an attacking GF. anyway, love ur work. :)

  • well, thank you very much.

  • I want my own cerberus

  • hahaha... yeah. Wouldn't that be cool?!

  • I am not getting involved in the debate going on in here.Really liked your video .What a great job you did getting all these dogs. The 1:16 dog was my favorite

  • thank you

  • i love that hell hound

  • omg you got young versions of him!! and the recent old version

  • FYI,since this arguement seems to have veered off of Cerebus and onto how flawed our political leaders are,I think I'll opt out for now. Reply to this post when we get back to the original subject. Good luck to both parties until then.

  • Now consider your answers to those questions when you read this: Does an individual really need to scientifically explain something in order to believe in it?

  • And the connection it has to God is this: BOTH ARE RELIGIOUS SYMBOLS AND NEED NO SCIENTIFIC EXPLAINATION. ITS A MATTER OF FAITH!!!!

  • there is no way to tell if anything is real or if its not its like loch ness monster people believe it but if they tried to drain the lake and find out people would say stop as they still want something to believe in.

  • I can agree with that. Take the Sasquatch, for example. Somebody could send a literal army of hunters and trackers out into the Sierra Nevada, and even if they found nothing at all,it wouldn't make Bigfoot any less "real" to those who believe in and/or claim to have seen it.

  • Don't know, Mythologists beleive so... but the only evidence they have is cartoons and scripts made by ancient people.

  • No dis,but even ancient scripts can't really be counted as factual sightings because so many of the myths and legends were based simply on early dinosaur fossil discoveries. I mean, take our perception of a Cyclops, then compare it to the frontal view of a Mammoth or elephant skull? What you get is the skeletal remains of a Cyclops, right?

  • YEAH, true... a dragon would be a pterodactilus skeleton... but how do you explain the cerebrus? there weren't any other creatures with 3 heads. what's the odds of findin 3 dinossaur heads and one dino body fossil?

  • Not unusual to find multiple skeletons fossilized together. After all,Sabertooth cats lived in packs, right?

  • True... that's a logical explanation. That's more like it.

  • One more thing though... how do you explain the size of the creature? cerebrus are told to be 10x bigger than a normal sabretooth.

  • Valid point. You've got me on that one, friend. Well done. If I come up with any plausible explanations,I'll be sure to post.

  • You know... I didn't give it much tought before i read your comments. However the more I think about it now, the more questions I come up with... The sabertooth was a cat, the cerebrus is a dog. I'm sure even ancient people knew the difference, don't ya think?

  • Yeah, that part never dawned on me either, but you're absolutely right. Yet another point I'm unable to explain. Touche.

  • These fabulos creatures, did not exist. They were a figment of mankinds imagintion they were stories. Stories that could make a nation feel proud stories to boast or brag about culture and what it had to face. These were made to tell children to keep them out of trouble or they needed an explanation. Things they couldn't explain had to have some reson for existence. So the gods were thought u, the titans EVERYTHING.

  • Who are you to tell me what's real and what's not? Further more, who are you to say what gods or Titans were real and which weren't? Three-quarters of the people in the US believe that the Christian God is real, right? What's right about believing in God and Jesus Christ, that's wrong about believing in Zeus and Herakles. See my point?

  • The fact here is, I'm not religion bashing, so don't take me for that, I'm simple stateing that they did not exist. I'm a critisist. I believe in god, but I like to keep an open mind, religeon is a way of explaining things. Things we don't understand. You obviously don't understand what is an exageration, and what is not.

  • Yeah, sorry about that. I just didn't have a better analogy to use at the time. The point I was trying to make is,were YOU there when the myth/legend of cerberus was "made up"? Somehow,I doubt it. Realistically speaking, nobody at all can claim to know the factual truth behind these things because they weren't there to see the creation of the story,or the flesh and blood creature. Again, sorry about the religion thing. I was having a bad day when I posted that.

  • No, I wasn't there, but the facts remain, unless scientifically proven, no creature could have more than one head and survive, it would have to channel energy throughout all the heads, pump blood to all of them, it's just something that couldn't happen. And the fact that there is no body, no evidence, no nothing is as well what drives me to belive these creatures were figments of mankinds imagination, as I said, they were a way to explain things.

  • Maybe so,but if you cut off a snake's head, the head survives on its own even though it's no longer connected to the body. With that said, what concrete proof says the opposite isn't possible. And besides, there was only one Cerberus ever in existence, and it lived in Hades, not here on earth.

  • And how do you suppose the Cerberus was created, without a mother, and without a father? Every being can be beheaded and the head lives. But I beilive it was only for a short period. I don't know what you were trying to prove there.

  • Firstly, the Cerberus did have parents,Echidna and Typhon, and its siblings were the Chimera and the Hydra. Secondly, not EVERY being on earth can be decapitated and survive, just certain species of birds and reptiles. And lastly, the point about the snake was evolution. If,indeed,Cerberus was a living,3-headed creature,it would have compensated with much stronger and larger muscles and organs, and possibly multiple hearts like some types of deep sea fish. See what I'm saying?

  • It's not possible. Multiple hearts would, yes supplie blood and energy. And the fact that there aren't more than one of each creature says what? They are fictional, Cerberus is fictional, and if you believe everything you read in mythology is real then your life is fictional. Stop liveing the dream. Echidna and Typhoon were both human based creatures, how on god's green earth is it possible for them to give birth to a three headed DOG.

  • I'm just the one arguing the science of existence. I never said it was real,I'm just stating the scientific facts of a plausible existence,as if it just could be real.

  • FOr such a complex creature to survive would be highly implausible. Even hearts take up energy, almost as much as they create, the creature would have to have an extra supplie of sugar and a large one at that. Not to mention it would need the knoledge that it's other heads were not it's enemies, like double headed creatures usually do. The blood would have to flow to each head. Do you want me to expose how OTHER creatures of mythology don't exist or have I made my point.

  • Tyrant... do you beleive in god? have you ever seen him?

wouldn't god need 10x more food than us too? It's your oppinion, and I respect that. you are entiteled to it. but DO NOT try to change other people's oppinion either, respect theirs too. if someone beleives the cerebrus existed, it may have...

  • and what's more. egyptians have carvings of plains, helicopters, and ufos. in the miedival times they would not beleive such things existed if you told them. yet now a days we know they do. i guess what i am trying to say is: there is more that meets the eye, and nature has a way of suspending things for even millions of years at the time. see what i'm getting at?

  • I belive in God yes, but I don't belive in him as a being that needs food and water to survive. It's something different. And you have just thrown the entire point of this argument off. Nature is significant but it has restrictions, restrictions alot of these creatures are proved wrong by.

  • No,actually I think NelsonCarmo is right on. How can you claim to believe that God is a being that needs no food or nourishment, then criticize me for attempting to scientifically explain a Cerebus? Answer me that.

  • I'll assume,TyrantTR,that by your lengthy silence,I've proven the point of this arguement.

  • No not at all. I was just a tad bit busy. IF there is a God witch my religeon leads me to believe, he is not of the liveing, and not of the dead but a spiritual matter. He is not flesh and blood and he is not organs and skin. Cerberus, however, was. And he would need alot going for him to be a successful liveing being.

  • And if we must argue on, then let me explain several resonings. Multiple headed snakes die quickly, because they tend to eat eachother. Never has a snake had 3 heads. As well, these snakes are slower, each head wanting to go somewere else. Unless it shared the same brain, Cerberus would barely be able to walk straight.

  • One brain would most indefinately defeat the purpose of a three headed dog seeing as it would have to concentrate on one target, and would most likely not attack from all sides like possible.

  • Again, same as before... everyone knows that two or more heads can control one single body... humans can, so why not a dog?! i am not saying I beleive 100% that the cerebrus really existed... my point is that, a lot of unexplainable things do exist... which is the case of: GOD. So, the whole argument is as complex as it is irrelevant.

  • TyrantTR: Lets veer off to a seperate but related subject: Pack hunters like jackels, wolves & raptors. Granted,no,they don't share a single body like Cerberus, but they're intelligent to the point where they can plan and execute complex attack patterns with tactical precision mirroring a modern day SEAL team. That said, why couldn't a Cerberus' three heads be pack-minded? Wrap your mind around that and get back to me,friend.

  • Here, you say it's impossible for a animal with several heads to survive long. preety good explanation... however, people are born attached to the same body, and two separate heads can live a full long healthy life... otherwize. so the cerebrus concept is possible. give me something else...

  • Ok, with this one, i will have to say that the way you are describing GOD... the cerberus is easier to believe in.

  • Humans only grow 2 heads, and we are much smarter than your average dog. Larger animals need a more complex skeletal structure, and larger organs, to boot Cerberus would need MORE organs, and a body that would be completely unatural, and would supply it with nothing. Packs hunt efficiently because they are seperated, they can attak from all sides without the prey even knowing it.

  • A three headed dog has a low chance of being able to split apart, nore have enough energy to fuel it's multiple heads. All of it's brains would be connected to the same organs, and it's spinal collum would be VERY wonky. So unless it has three of each bone, and organ I don't think it will get along that well with it's 'partners.'

  • God isn't natural. He isn't a force of nature, he is practicaly nothing, but a driveing force in our lives and ultimately the creator. For you that is hard to belive, but then again, for me, A serpent made out of a female, whos brother is a whirlpoop is rather unbeliveable too.

  • Then if "God" isn't natural, why does Cerebus have to be?

  • ...

"Because", said the smart guy, to the dreamer, "God is nothing, a driveing force that is all, not a solid being, unlike Cerberus. Who was picked up, born, fed and so forth."

  • If that's the case, then you're saying that your supposed "savior",Jesus Christ, isn't who he claims to be,and everything having to do with him,God,and Christianity in general is a complete and utter lie.

  • See thats were you completely and totally lost the argument. I didn't deny anything. I didn't even mention my belief, and who even says I belive jesus was the son of god? You are so quick to judge.

  • Which takes me back to one of my earlier posts: If God isn't natural, why does Cerebus have to be? Your answer was somewhat lacking.

  • As I have told you. God is nothing. How much more do you need. Cerberus took up space. He killed and guarded everything. We you can't see that is what makes me belive you are makeing no point with that.

  • And randomly turning it on my religeon isn't helping you much. It just makes you look like an idiot saying things at random.

  • God is a religious symbol, correct? Cerebus is a religious symbol, too, only much older. Is that clear enough for you,or is that beyond YOUR comprehension? Now,my question: If God doesn't need a scientific explaination, why does Cerebus?

  • hu, i like this one... that's a great point.

  • Because for god's sake (lol) CERBERUS WAS ALIVE! How many fucking times must I say that. Cerberus had actual intereactions with people, no one sees God till there dead. It's a horrible point, and makes avsolutely no sence. To be alive Cerberus would need organs and such.

  • And to do that would be just plain impossible. It'd be like a hollow body walking around for no reason. EVERYTHING has some scientific explanation. And if you think a three headed dog with snakes for hair could run around in a place full of dead people, you are obviously on crack.

  • So a snake can have his head cut off then grow back too more? Yeah right. And a horse with a fishes behind is very accurate. And lets not forget a human with snakes for hair. Grow up, it won't happen, and it will never happen, and it is obviously not possible.

  • I never said anything about a snake growing another head after losing its first one! I also never mentioned any half horse, half fish creatures! Stop ranting and make some sense, man! I'm simply trying to point out that Cerebus was a religious being to the ancient Greeks,as was Medusa, and probably this horse-fish thing you mentioned.

  • And is religeon ever intended to be taken seriously? No. In the bible Jesus said you are to love god more than your family. Do you really think it was intended that you do that. God created the world supposedly in seven days when it took years for the earth to form. NOTHING written in the bible, is to be taken literally. Cerberus was never real. And he will never be real.

  • you don't know that for certain... nobody knows, like spartan said: the cerberus concept is older than religions. who's to say that all those mythical creature's remains are berried that deep now, that we would never find them... unless we would excavate deeper.

  • what's more, all you know about science is what government paid scientists tell you what to believe in. who's to say that there was human life before the dinossaurs, who's to say that the dinossaurs died out by human hands and not all that crap they dish out. you don't know. so to me, the cerberus it may have existed for certain.

  • ... Oi. One of those anti government craploads. The government doesn't pay scientists to tell us fictisious information. Grow up, this aint a movie. And It wasn't "much" older than the greek mythology. We find dinosaur bones. And they are ten fucking times older than when mankind supposedly stumbled upon Cerberus.

  • Learn to fix your grammer. I can hardly understand what your saying. I do know, because guess what. I'm smart.

  • Mankind=Stupid, Stupid=lack of action, lack of action=false creation of action, false creation of action=Story. People made this up. To make them proud. That is all. Nothing more nothing less, and when you grow up your going to belive me. But right now, you can just hug the unicorn.

  • Okay, then. Answer this: you say that God is nothing but a driving force, right? What's your basis for that idea? Is it scientific,or just based on stories told in the so-called bible?

  • yeah, agreed... you are the one being ignorant, stupid, and hypocreet. you pick on my writing? is that the best you can do? how can someone beleive in god, and explain it has a: DRIVING FORCE... and yet, you strongly debate in your disbeleif about cerberus... hum.

  • If you guys made sence here, I wouldn't even bother posting. Right now I'm just haveing fun humiliating you. Really. There is no scientific explanation for god. But lucky for you guys there is a scientific explanation for retardation.

  • hahaha, insults comes from the ignorant who can't find a valid point to a debate. ho, that's you tyrant.

in any event, i do beleive in God, because in this planet everything has a purpose... so it had to be created by someone. However...

  • No one has ever seen God, so therefore it's just like the cerberus issue, nobody in recent centuries have seen a cerberus, but who's to say it doesn't exist? who's to say that cerberus is just like God?!

  • This point phails. EPicaly. And me, ignorant? Obviously you are ignorant of reality. My points have been ten times as valid as yours and my sinults are because you can't take a hint. THis debate has been going on for some time. ANd quite litterally you guys fail.

  • Cerberus was seen, touched, he ate and was a liveing creature. He needs some scientific accuracy to exist. And he has none. Neither does half the other mythical creatures. Get a clue, get a life, and grow up.

  • huuuuuuuu, grow up hey?! grow up because I choose to beleive that the cerberus existed, and you don't. because i have my own beliefs instead of swallowing down dry everything the governments dish out? well, i thing if you are a puppet for the government... you are the one who needs to grow up pal.

  • think*

  • Wow, and here we have an example of the anti government system. What the government 'dishes out' is entirely the truth. So the government doesn't want us to know about a three headed dog that runs around in a place full of dead people? That makes so much sence I just laughed. Your pathetic.
