Too bad, your car is absolutely worthless like that. IF the hydraulic system kept breaking down, someone has been misusing it or not giving the proper maintenance at the proper intervals. I have had 3 cars of this type and many other Citroen's like the BX, CX and DS, and NEVER had any problems due to normal maintenance.
Quite unbelievable, to have the technical skills to transform a suspension, but too lazy to keep the original system in good condition.
Got plenty of hydropneumatic cars either (DS,CX,GS, XM 1 and 2..) and never broke any suspension.. Thoses spheres are as tough as rock.. You only need to get the LHM at it's right level and change them when they start to click, as you would change normal showk absorbers.. never heard of hydropneumatic breaking time after time in 40 years of Citroen driving and maintaining..
@gsax1 There were no such thing on earth as a GS or GSA with spring supsension. Actually the hydraulic ones (at least those made by Citroën) proved to be far more reliable than any spring suspension.

Ahhh. Those were the days! I like the blue one at 1:26 in particular, that's a nice colour. Could that be Bleu Camargue, perhaps? Myosotis, maybe?

I had three GSA "s each did at least 130 to 150 K they were great. They all did good mph and were comfortable so long as they were serviced well.
