i have been thinking of buying spider valve and i was wondering if you could answer some questions for me ? :)

- can you input a big multi effect pedal so that you can by-pass the Line6 modelling and you are just using the speaker/tube-thingy with then the sounds of the pedal?

- can you input a mp3 or something like for good play allongs?

- Is it loud enough for smaller gigs+ quiet enough for bedroom playing without losing sound quality?

Nice SG! I love SG's, the hooks on the body always make me think it would have been Batmans choice of axe had he started a band. If you haven't already check out Danny Gill's Darkness covers, the're hands down the best around and really useful to learn from.

I love the sound you get with ur set up tho - line 6's are great.

Fender telecaster 72 custom can handle your hard-rocking needs with its humbuckers. If you wanna go metal go for a jim root custom tele or a john 5 trip humbucker model (tele aswell)

It could but the Darkness is a "metal" song that requires distortion saturation in the sound.I can't get that with the Telecaster because te single coils are very clear and lack meat to it. Sounds ok but not as good as with a humbucker guitar. hmmm this is getting me thinking... but I haven't played that song w/ the Tele and a rolled down tone knob yet... maybe it'll sound good ... but is this the kind of music you intend playing?

mmm yeah i play hard rock a bit of metaL,,, i play everything but my doubt its the epiphone sound better for that kind of music, fender has better qualitty and i doesnt have enough money for gibson!!!!! LOL

oy ... hmm let's see I don't know if the Spider Valve's amp models are synonymous to your HD 150... also the Spider Valve is an all Tube Amp unlike yours... but I'll message ya!

I know! That's why i love the Darkness it's hella tacky and cheesy but it's so awesome! Those Hawkins brother know how to rock!
