My dad is Brazilian, but he's closer to a black brazilian more than white though he's not too dark, just really tan a bit, with green eyes, my mom is mostly white, irish, german, french etc with some black too......i cam out mostly tan.....not white or pale.....i myself dont like 'pale looks' tan and brown is best

you are right. I do not desagree with you. As you said, Brazil is eurocentric in everything. The european beauty (white skin, blue eyes) is seen as "superior" form of beauty - since the colonial times. Brazil only follow the trend of european countries.

But do not worry, The last fashion week shows they made racial quotas for black beauties in the catwalk. I do not agree with that, but there is some kind of mobilization to do what you said in your message.
