just clean them out every week or two in your other vid i saw you said you reset your ESC (computer) every couple of weeks just clean out the air box while your at it. worth it to me for the extra power
@Scar3Cr0w619 Ya you're probably right - not a big deal. But I went with the K&N CAI instead. But yeah it definitely would be worth it - it makes a big difference in throttle response!
@tarheelmr7 loll I wish I could tell ya, but thats just from everyday driving. I would recommend the K&N CAI to anyone though, the throttle response is wicked. Hope you dont have leaves in your intake!
@tarheelmr7 you cant run a 3" pipe on the 2009-2010 trucks, only the previous year models because the intake is actually a cylindrical shape where you can put a Flexible rubber coupling with gear clamps and attach a 3" PVC pipe. The "Snorkel" that you take off the 2009 and 2010 models is oddly shaped, I'm sure you could MacGyver something together to do the same idea, but I did not. Now I just have a K&N aftermarket intake installed.
I just invested $300 and got a whole k&n cold air intake kit, never had a problem and it has been 14 months now, average mpg is 17.4 so im really happy with it.
Thanks for that rear seat video, i keep my tow straps there, great place for it.
I've seen alot of rodents build nests in air boxes and cabin filters.

I think this happened because you did not run a 3" pipe into the fender well.

@sick98civic ya thats a good idea too. I still ended up reversing it though because my exhaust was too loud lol

I'm glad I didn't do mine. I drive about 300-400 miles per day and that would really kill my gas mileage.
