@blizzard249 because otherwise there would be no weight to keep the momentum going and flip the bike back rightside. it would stall midway through and flip sideways.
Yea its another guy I think they need the weight up there to help the centrifugal force and its cooler to have a person than a chunk of metal or another object.
that rim isnt bent after that..
