@HistoryLover1550 plus, akhenaten´s religion forgot the most important thing for egyptians: the afterlife. since there were no other gods, osiris, anubis, and all other gods in relation to the afterlife, were in effect nonexistent, wich meant that there would be no afterlife, since the very guide to it, the book of gates, could not be used anymore because of all the traditional gods that it emphasized. so there were quite a few flaws in akhenatens ideology.
It amazes me how much effort is taken not to observe the obvious deductions. When you unemploy the priests of hundreds of gods you create a large force of opposition with a massive network of for insurgence. When they struck at the royal family, Akhnaten would have responded with brute force. Also, no one pays much attention to Tee being granddaughter of monotheists from Haran, orignin of Abraham and a home influeced by Zoroastrian ethical monotheism.

Sad how Akhenaten's vision and city were abandoned and forgotten, yet he did neglect the political importance of being a king which wasn't good!

We now know that Tut had a broken leg and it looks like gangrene set in and he probably died of blood poison.
