  • Gorgeous car, man. They don't make them like this any more sadly...ahhh how I wish I could have one. :)

  • do you still have this 205?

    thanks

  • Beautiful car!

  • i love it , how much would u think it would cost for a 17year old to have lol

  • @Donfather1994 5k insurance and at least 2k for the car, i looked my self but couldnt afford it

  • I love pugs 205

  • mate! awsome beautiful, i hope i will own one of those sometimes and preferably in the color of yours.

looks also still in mint conditions. seat bellow perfect etc..

  • made in france

  • man it's gorgeous to bad i can't find anything like yours in slovenia :(

  • i respect you from italy i love this car!

  • Hi mate I see you have a mini on your driveway. Do you feel the Pug 205 GTI has better roadholding and handling than the mini? Thanks

  • i think a fair way of saying it is that the mini feels like a newer version of the 205. i had a normal cooper before the "s" and the cooper felt alot better to drive, it was more alive and felt freer/looser and was alot more fun, yeah ok it was not as fast as the cooper s but speed isnt everything.

  • that is so god dam sexy.

i hope you still have it in standard condition. they are well better standard.

if your comming to sell it i'll buy it :)

    205 over and out

  • still got her, she has just clocked 180k this morning. need to get a new exhaust as its started to blow at the center

  • wow thats fantastic :)

    still all standard i hope?

    180k in miles or kilometers?

  • all as she is in the video apart from a change of tyres and a service every month to help look after the engine. the mileage is in miles as im in the uk.

mite have to look into a replacment engine soon as she is slowly drinking oil, around half a litre a month.

  • that makes me smile knowing that people love the 205 as it was out of the factory.

the services must have cost a lot over time.

well i must say 180,000 miles is a lot for an old petrol engine. are you going to try and keep it as standard as you can when you get a new engine?

i'd get myself a GTI but i can't really afford to insure it as i'm only 19. i tried for a 1.6 and nearly £2000 on my mums :(

i'm thinking of buying a good condition standard one and leaving it untill i get tenough money.

  • .....beautiful!!!

  • 180k is nothing, my 306gti6 engine has passed 200k.

if/when the 205 engine gives up im going to be using the 306 gti6 engine.

im going to have to upgrade afew things like the brakes/dampers/slip diff but still keep the bodywork standard

  • hey mate just got a H reg 1.6 laser green immaculate like yours intend on keeping it that way

  • so beautiful

  • mint. MOLZ paint ftw

  • tres belle 205 gti bravo !!

    verry nice !!!!

  • cheers man

  • Que joya y que preciosidad de cohe. Encima esta cuidadisimo.

  • I need another 205 in my life. its been so lonely without one :(

  • agreed , same here

  • what song is this?????

  • i want one !! dont know whether to get a 1.9 or go for the Mi16 if i can even get insured on mi16 im 22 lol

  • you mean just because the owners not stuck it in a ditch...?

  • perfect ... unbelievable

  • OMG o.o ... great job, looks fantastic !

  • yes the car is for looking at and then accelerating. for all we know it could be a non runner hehe

  • luv the polished rimz, well, the whole friggin' car for that matter, great restoration, great vid!!!

  • if ya ever wanna sell it.......

  • on se vaan niin nätti=) itellä punainen 1.9=)

  • wheres the vid of the gti drove like she shud be

  • have a look at my other videos of it round the track

  • mmmmiiiinnnnttt are thosediamond cut alloys

  • i want this car

  • Beautiful music for a beautiful car! It was so moving!

I've just had to unwrap mine and get her out of the garage...She is one of the 10 rare red 4 speed auto 1.9 gti's with air con. (Don't laugh!)

She may not be quite as quick as a manual...But she is in the same stunning condition as yours and an absolute pleasure to drive! I wouldn't sell her at ANY price!

Thanks for such a great video!

I'm gonna watch it again 5/5 from me :o)

  • thanks for your great comment, its been alot of hard work to get her in that condtion. she had a very hard life at one point, i had a roll cage in her, she was fully stripped out including no dash, and used her as a track car, its now time for her to take life slower and just see the open road on the weekends. i had been thinking about putting a mi16 engine in her but i think keeping the old 8v engine is the best way to keep that classic look

  • The car is credit to you! That is an amazing restoration!

I've been out in mine tonight and everywhere I stopped she seemed to gather a crowd...Keeping the car in mint condition and always spotless really does draw attention.

Look after that little beauty of yours...You hardly see them anymore...I went to the Southend Cruise last Saturday night and only saw one other 205 gti...I was in my other car...but next time I'm taking the Pug...As long as it doesn't rain...haha!! :o)

  • "I went to the Southend Cruise last Saturday night and only saw one other 205 gti."

it wasnt me was it I got a green one. I 2 go to southend cruise very rare to see 205 gtis there get really excited when I see another 1

  • I saw you...and a silvery blue one that week...I was in my metallic black MK2 Golf GTi.

Even though it wasn't a proper cruise night last night, a load of us went down...I took my Pug...It was still very busy...She got plenty of looks when we parked up. If it's not raining next week I'll probably go again...It's a bit of a mission for us coz it's 160 mile round trip...Look out for a red 205 GTi with diamond cut alloys and a white'n'black 309 that pops and shoots flames out the back...haha!! :o)

  • you saw me laser green 1.6 at that cruise? or this guys pug

  • keep her standard m8 get an old shell for mi16 your car belongs in a museum

  • very beautiful, love the old school peugeots

  • another rarish colour like my much loved laser green 1.6 named pepper lol.

  • finding a good 309 beam is the problem, most people have beaten you to it and the ones that are for sale are over priced. are you a member of the 205 owners forum - 205gtidrivers . com there is loads of helpful people/ information on there

  • lol trouble is im not mechanically minded whatsoever and i shudder to think wot it wud cost to get that done at a garage, any ideas? ive got a peugeot specialist i go to thats reasonable i guess i figure all the time the car moves its ok ( money is tight ) ive heard its a common problem with 205s. Anyway mine is a 1.6 Gti in laser green H reg.

  • mines in a state, needs a new rear beam :-(

  • the 309 gti rear beam is normaly a good upgrade, i just stuck with the 205 1.9 beam

  • thanks, i tryed my best

  • hi mate, its in very good nik that.
