Ronnie's 147 in just over 5 minutes was a touch of genius, however it still only one him one frame. There is nothing new in winning a frame at one visit a slip from another player, Steve Davis was a master at that in the 80s. Ronnie is a great player when on song, but he is just too inconsistent to be named the greatest IMO. Would Ronnie have got that 147 in record time on older tables - Nope

Great match, was @ the evening session for this, crowd were brilliant, was surprised Ronnie conceded at the end though he only needed 1 snooker?, but i think mentally he had enough - Selby showed plenty of bottle though, the look on Ronnies face when that double of the red went in was priceless, amazing shot played in that situation 2.

Hendry will always be the greatest, check out their records. Apart from 147 breaks, Ronnie doesn't even come close! Don't get me wrong, Ronnie is a great player WHEN he puts his mind to it, but against a prime Hendry - one slip and its frame over. Ronnie takes advantage of other players mistakes while break building, but Hendry didn't miss when on song. As someone once commented - if the first red goes down its frame over! Hendry is the best breakbuilder ever - well over 700 centuries.
