  • is that speedometer is kp/h?

  • i agree that car becuase its my favourite car in the world and this time is the new record of Jeremy's ricdicoulous lap after its camera cut about 6 years ago man i would never ever done the lap in my own old console broke down few years. How did you do that well let me guess you have attepts on beating jeremy's lap.

  • Nice lap Hekke! I saw your time on GTP ages ago and gave this a shot, getting about six tenths off you. The funny thing about your driving is that it's so smooth, yet so fast :P

  • keep them coming mate , good job of ye

  • I agree, it depends on the car but I actually always use my wheel when I can. Depending on the car, either can be faster but i've noticed with a car like the veyron it's actually faster to use the d pad I think (but I didn't have the option of the wheel anyway). I use my steering not really bcuz it does give you more precise control but bcuz it's so much fun. I'm addicted to using them now. I have the DFGT, 900 degree, force fb, vibration. The time it takes to turn probably adds up so

  • @thnk4urself .... there you go.

    Cheers.

  • I'm a dedicated Forza player and wanted to play a GT game, I went and found GT4 brand new and popped it into my (un-modded) PS2. For some reason the screen just goes black and nothing happens.

    Can anyone here please help?

  • @FredSmithen you check it for scratches? do other games work in your ps2?

  • I don't at all doubt your pedigree. I'm on GTPlanet too & there are some amazing drivers there that are among the best in the world. I just can't see it. No matter what technique or how skilled you are, I don't think the ds2 is physically capable of smooth steering like that. it doesn't matter anyways, you're a great driver & there's not a thingwrong with using a d pad but I can't believe they can do that

  • @thnk4urself ... well, you better start believing...it's been an ongoing debate for many years whether the wheel or the D-pad is the fastest.

Conclusion is that track and car combo is the decisive factor.

HugoBoss, holl01, eclipsee ...just to mention a few, have all been GT4-world-record holders at some point using the D-pad.

Guys like them are refered to as "ALIENS"..... living legends.... seriously!!

What it boils down to is personal taste.

    Cheers and happy hunting.... ;-)

  • I don't believe you about the D pad. It's doubtful that you used a controller at all but theres no way you used the D pad. You should have changed the HUD display because the guage at the bottom tells me without a doubt you're lying. not even the joystick is that sensitive let alone the D pad. good lap though

  • @thnk4urself .... Can't change the way you feel about me using the D-pad but with all due respect you're wrong...you'll just have to accept it, I'm afraid!

If still in doubt I urge you to visit GTPlanet to find out more about "hsh" (my online nick).... ask anyone there with a GT4 pedigree.

Now .... be carefull before calling anyone a lyer.

  • @ProdriveGTR.... I'm using my PC as my recording device fitted with a TV-tuner-card.

Software used when recording is Cyberlink Power Cinema, recording at 9000kbps (720x576).

Sometimes I tend to use Cyberlink PowerDirector-Pro though.... it's got some really nice features.

Windows Movie Maker is ok but I hardly ever use that any more.

  • good lap records friend)^^

  • I love your videos

  • Thanks jonah!

  • I've been a fan for a long time.
