I just had a $900 vintage stereo receiver DESTROYED by FedEx! It was an ebay auction and I got a VERY angry email from my customer last night stating that the item was destroyed and no longer functioning. It worked perfectly when I packaged it for shipping last week. It's now a pile of useless JUNK! I'll NEVER use FedEx again! Thank God it was insured. Now I wait to see how well FedEx stands behind their insurance. Keeping fingers crossed!
Which issue? There's tons of these Fed Ex videos all over youtube, of delivery men throwing packages, tossing boxes out the back of trucks, and kicking them around.
I've come to the conclusion that FedEx WANTS to break your package. Its the only explanation.

I've noticed over the last 25 years that FedEx has a had time collecting signatures or ringing my door bell. They tend to leave the package at the door and run away. Once and a while they will ring or knock but in the 30 seconds it takes to answer the door they're already in their trucks and speeding away. ha ha ha UPS does a far better job at getting my actual signature and making sure it's me at the door. But FedEx more often than not leaves my package with a neighbor or at the wrong door.

I will never ship through FedEx after I got my protable hard drive stolen by them for which I paid $150. The delivery was apparently made when I was in my house but I never got the package. When I went online to see tracking number, it has been mysteriously signed with my name.

I once sent a package back to a company and they said they never got it even though FedEx had signed it as "delivered". Two weeks later the Administrative Assistant found it out back in the rain next to an old over grown exit that they hardly ever use while on a cigaret break. She said that FedEx knew where the (clearly marked) main entrance was and could have easily used it.

FedEx employees are thieves! How about stopping hiring them and taking control of the issue? You DO NOT take this seriously! If you did, no one would steal. If you actually investigated the cases of theft, this would not happen that often! I demand the full refund of my $700 PACKAGE! FULL REFUND! I would consider your worthless shipping company, however I like my package to get there within 7 business days. UPS can do this for me at a quicker and cheaper rate. I have never been satisfied with a single transaction involving FedEX
They dont take the matter that seriously! I recieved a package that cost me over $800 a week ago . there was a huge hole in the box & the item wad badly damaged. I contacted them and they sent a driver by to look at it.I have not heard back from them yet.My experience has NOT been "outstanding" at all.

My personal experience, is that some drivers are in too much of a hurry to take the slightest effort to 'finish the job'. Working from home, I have found that the driver will leave packages, but not take the effort to ring the doorbell. I understand not waiting, these are low priority/value but courtesy would be to press the doorbell that is easier then leaving the packages where they do (driver seems to take care to leave out of sight from street, but not from door- in other words, correct).
Lmao how much damage has this driver caused over the years! I'd love to know how much money he's cost customers wholesalers and manufacturers.........it must be thousands of dollars:))
At my work all of our delivery guys from Fedex are horrible, no personalty and they want to dump off our packages on the loading dock without even letting us know they are out there. They carry no dollies are always in a hurry bad breath they just suck!!! They complain that they are temporary workers with no benefits. Well, I say quit and find another job. If you are going to stay at the job then live with it. They deserve this bad publicity. I hope that fool lost his job.

In addition to my own experiences, I hear about this kind of crap happening frequently with FedEx. I never shop an online retailer that uses FedEx as their carrier. I'll shop elsewhere and wait the extra couple of days and pay a lot less to get mine through UPS. They have never failed me.

Having worked at both fdx and ups, I can tell you that your packages are anything but "precious cargo". The management at both places want the processes of sorting and delivering done as quickly as possible because that translates to big bonuses and profits. I can imagine the guy throwing the box was under tremendous pressure to meet productivity goals.
Everything at FedEx is automated—except alerting customers to a problem with delivery. I've been waiting all day for an express overnight delivery with a 10:30 AM delivery deadline...and when I finally got a person, they told there wasn't room on the flight for my envelope in the state of origin. No notice. And my priority overnight with morning delivery package will now not arrive for maybe three days. FedEx failed both clients—me AND the company sending me the materials by my deadline.
Of course they made a public apology... It was a publicly visible error. Would you make a public apology if you dropped a glass in your friend's kitchen? And just like every company, people work for them! Shit happens; there is a reason they have insurance, lawyers, and a PR team, they know that even when they strive to make their company the best, there are always careless employees. Its like car insurance! If everyone drove well, we wouldn't need it! Anyways, FedEx is awesome in S. Florida.

Matthew: You can add the Shreveport, LA facility to your training program. They did not deliver my an order I placed for my daughters Christmas present. They listed it as 'ATTEMPTED'. Normally they leave a sticker on my front door. I know they did not attempt it, because this was the 3rd incident they listed as "attempted" . Then, I have to go to Sheveport and pick it up. HMMM Mr. Thornton, trying to save money on gas by having the customer pick it up? I will not use FEDEX again!
I dislike this video because just last week one of the fedex delivery crew cut into my fedex box with my gf's promise ring inside, stole the ring and put the ringbox back inside like it was never tampered with. Its about time someone was actually able to put something like this out on youtube to get attention, and get a response. You need to do more than just apologize, because the apology I got for my ring isnt going to pay me back for what ive lost. STOP entrusting OUR packages to hired scum.

My personal experience, is that some drivers are in too much of a hurry to take the slightest effort to 'finish the job'. Working from home, I have found that the driver will leave packages, but not take the effort to ring the doorbell. I understand not waiting, these are low priority/value but courtesy would be to press the doorbell that is easier then leaving the packages where they do (driver seems to take care to leave out of sight from street, but not from door- in other words, correct).

At my work all of our delivery guys from Fedex are horrible, no personalty and they want to dump off our packages on the loading dock without even letting us know they are out there. They carry no dollies are always in a hurry bad breath they just suck!!! They complain that they are temporary workers with no benefits. Well, I say quit and find another job. If you are going to stay at the job then live with it. They deserve this bad publicity. I hope that fool lost his job.

Having worked at both fdx and ups, I can tell you that your packages are anything but "precious cargo". The management at both places want the processes of sorting and delivering done as quickly as possible because that translates to big bonuses and profits. I can imagine the guy throwing the box was under tremendous pressure to meet productivity goals.

Everything at FedEx is automated—except alerting customers to a problem with delivery. I've been waiting all day for an express overnight delivery with a 10:30 AM delivery deadline...and when I finally got a person, they told there wasn't room on the flight for my envelope in the state of origin. No notice. And my priority overnight with morning delivery package will now not arrive for maybe three days. FedEx failed both clients—me AND the company sending me the materials by my deadline.

Matthew: You can add the Shreveport, LA facility to your training program. They did not deliver my an order I placed for my daughters Christmas present. They listed it as 'ATTEMPTED'. Normally they leave a sticker on my front door. I know they did not attempt it, because this was the 3rd incident they listed as "attempted" . Then, I have to go to Sheveport and pick it up. HMMM Mr. Thornton, trying to save money on gas by having the customer pick it up? I will not use FEDEX again!

I dislike this video because just last week one of the fedex delivery crew cut into my fedex box with my gf's promise ring inside, stole the ring and put the ringbox back inside like it was never tampered with. Its about time someone was actually able to put something like this out on youtube to get attention, and get a response. You need to do more than just apologize, because the apology I got for my ring isnt going to pay me back for what ive lost. STOP entrusting OUR packages to hired scum.
