I'm a musician and so are most of my friends, so yeah...we like it because it's got great musical quality lol Like for one thing I love how you could probably even just take out the words and just the music alone could illustrate what's happening. @Allmusicals13 mostly only piccolo in parade band. for field band, i play tuba. started out on piano and my mom thought it'd be good for me to learn flute cuz it looked easy (which i thought it was), then picc, tuba, and clarinet were all self taught.

In my wonderful Wicked almanac, they said that they replaced this song because it was more of a dance number than an introduction to Fiyero's life philosophy. DTL has way more depth.
