The ball bearing motor is something mainstream physics tries to hide. It does not operate on thermal expansion. If you had a long wire conducting electricity and then chopped this wire in smaller pieces that can rotate along the wire and gave them a spin all would rotate. This is a fundamental physical effect which is being ignored.
The ball bearing motor is not the most efficient application of this concept.
