If we end up in last place overall and don't have a #1 draft pick...Burkie's ego will definitely be deflated. We haven't had a #1 pick since Clarkie. But, does Kessel justify (2) 1st rounders and a 2nd rounder??? I think not. He's not a franchise player...he's a supporting franchise player. Big price to pay...

So, do we know that "lady" that was yelling all those things? lol. But seriously, Kessel was impressive as expected, and gives us a bonifide goal scorer coming into his own, which is something we haven't had in recent memory. Another intangible you haven't mentioned is unlike a lot of players, Kessel actually was excited to be here, and wants to impress. That's going to go a long way. Trust me on that one.
