This place have been looted by the extreme poor of the Eastern Europe time and time again for the past two decades despite the radioactive contamination. Gypsies etc. took away everything from the deserted city that could make them some money. That's why the whole place looks like a warzone.

This is not just the decay and nature taking over.

@IAMARATEL Because the cat never was killed. It takes an awful lot of creativity to turn all these loose footage into a watchable documentary. They just had footage of an eagle and of a kitten and mixed it together.

It's teaming with wildlife - sure it's contaminated but the irony here is that people are more destructive to the world than radiation is.

The only thing that isn't better off since the nuclear meltdown are people - and it was people that caused it. I'd say it's a happy ending when a destructive force gets its comeuppance and everything else that was being destroyed by the force comes out ahead as a result.
