  • Rear naked choke was brought to the us arm after encountering its use from Japanese soldiers. it was then incorporated into many uses ie sports.

  • hha either way you look at it... Japanese or othewise, it is still pretty much rear-naked choke lol

but that is comming from a guy that uses BJJ

  • @takashiclan I'm not sure I understood you

  • @takashiclan Im pretty god with my Brazllian jiu-jitsu, or s i think, and we hav atechnique like this called rear-naked-choke. the only difference is it isexecuted on he ground, not standing. That's all ^

  • Of course, in judo this choke is called kuzure-hadaka-jime. But you should remember that "sankaku" means triangle. Maybe other martial arts called this "sankaku" because of this triangle made by tori's hands? ;-]

  • This is not a sankaku jime its a kuzure hadaka jime (its an alternative for hadaka jime) sankaku is the one we know as triangle....in mma or BJJ.

  • Looks like he only "uses" the thumb the first time he does the choke. What's going on??

  • it is not sankaku jime... it is not hadaka jime... its kuzure hadaka jime...

  • Is it neccessary to use a Japanese name for a *thumb*? 0_o

  • that's hadaka jime not san ka ku jime

  • Your Right Carlos it is'nt san ka ku jime , And I would'nt put that! on you tube. It is far too dangerous to show
