i'd like to see what lists people make for utterly depressing games. P3 and Final fantasy tactics are on my list. Tactics left me with a horrible horrible empty feeling.

@kuwaizair I'd probably say FF7 (the first game). The world is pretty much dead when that game is over.

And definately FFX-1.

FF7's world wasn't that bad off, considering the (awful) sequels it spawned. And FFX's end wasn't bleak at all, given how it leads into FFX2.

If you're going to throw out important information like that, I might as well say that Final Fantasy games are so corny anyways it's hard for them to be that effective emotionally regardless of whether you take their sequels into account.
