  • Guys, look at the description! You gotta love this guys English.

  • i got mine to run 5.2ghz for a few benchmarks its freaking FLEW!!! but volts were high and temps were high, only for benchmarks

  • trying to overclock on a v8 is bad enough but to use an auto overclocking, you have to be trying to kill that chip.

  • I'm running at 4.8ghz steady turned off turbo and the power save settings! Iv read alot and watched a lot of videos to learn now to overclock it my self! Now at 4.8 steady I'm 20c idle and max 60c and it runs like a bear so happy now boots first time every time

  • I have sent back 5 motorboards to ASUS under warranty because they said that there auto over clocking worked!! Well bull crapp to them even at 4.2ghz the comp would not boot right two or three times get get my comp running then it had a mind of it's own it would just shut down and say over clocking had failed then when you hit set up it would reboot back into 4.2ghz again! Got feed up read alot watch bids alot and turned all the auto crap off and now with a corsair H80 liquid cooling I'm runnin

  • It changed the Base Clock? That is pretty dangerous because it also affects your PCI-E and could kill your 500 USD Graphics Card.

  • Learn to OC yourself its easy, and your gonna kill your cpu using auto tune its shit, burns out so many cpu's. People who cant OC themselves shouldn't be OCing at all, its not a game when you can ruin a rig with the click of a button.

  • yeah try running anything (browser photoshop game whatever) after your "auto-clock" is done and prepare to be amazed by an instant bsod

  • its 1600 -3400, 3700 with turbo on,on idle its 1.6 start some program and you will see change

  • can somebody tell me if there is something wrong with my core i5 2500k default core speed ??? I ran the CPU-Z software and it says that my default Core Speed is @ 1605.x Mhz, and the multiplier is x 16.0.....shouldnt this be around the 3400 Mhz with a 34.0 multiplier ??? I havent messed with overclocking btw or anything like that...

  • @Mirmidon87 It underclocks if you don't have a full load on the cpu. Run a benchmark and then open cpu-z while its running.

  • Asus Auto Tune is a good way to kill a CPU!!

  • @TOR1392

    True.

  • go for a coolit eco (cpu cooler, liquid cooling) ...it is very cheap and yes it is reliable

  • asus auto tune

  • what tuning tool is that?

  • yes

  • hello , did the v8 fil well on the sandt brige 2500 k ?
