Hmmm, trying to cure a virus with antibiotics. Antiobiotics have no effect on viruses but they do however destroy your bacterias in your body of many which are actually quite helpful. After they are destroyed you are weaker against bacteria caused diseases which were prevented before by the helpful bacteria.

So to cure a virus with antibiotics would mean that not only it has effect, you are more likely to fall sick afterwards.

Antibiotics won't work to cold, since it is a virus and antibiotics only effect to bacterian diseases. So antibiotics in nanomachines would not work to cold.

On a side-note, I prefer the Twin Snake VAs for Mei Ling and Naomi. Yes, the acting itself for some of the scenes is better in the original, but the VAs for those two really drive me up the wall. -_-

No, Naomi and Mei Ling had different VAs in Twin Snakes than they did in the first one; Mei Ling sounded more Chinese in the first, but sounded older, while Naomi sounded more British in the first one but just sounded bad overall. Everyone else remained the same.

This is good too, where Snake has a cold. The irony of it all was that David Hayter himself had a cold during the voice acting recording sessions, so this was a bit of an in-joke with the voice actors, without Kojima and the other writers even realising it.
