  • This song gives me chills. What happened then could possibly happen again. But i really hope people have wised up since then. Blessed Be.

  • Thanks Goddess you that returned!

  • Thanks for the message, may we never forget~

Also, I love the last pic at 5:26.

    ~)O( Blessed Be )O(~

  • As long as people remain narrow minded then the burning times shall forever continue... =(

  • My fellow witches.. I love u all! Pagan and Proud. Its difficult. Especially also being of african american descent as well... Its never ok to make someboody feel hated... Blessed Be loves!

  • R.I.P. to all those healers, midwives and witches lost. I wish bigotry was dead; Since I was in high school I've been called a witch (in a negative context of course) , the whore of Babylon and told to burn in hell at least a dozen times...

  • I wish people would just UNDERSTAND... but....

  • blest be my borths and sisters you are safe in the godess and gods arms x

  • I feel so sorry for those innocents ... The burning times are not over, unfortunately...

  • A beautiful tribute to our brothers and sisters who were misunderstood through fear.

    Blessed Be

  • for my brothers and sisters i would not hesitate to take your place if the dark times happened again tho i would start war beyond what those that hate us could ever understand or comprehend.

  • @jarvawolf same here

  • The funny part is that most of the people that were burned were Christian who refused to say they were witches. Further more the book that was used as a hand book, the Malius Malifacarum, was a book saying that witches dont exsist, but was like the bible misquoted. I had to read it as required reading for my Second Degree studies.

  • im a pagan but i live in Northern Ireland which is a very strong christian country. I have friends whose parents are strongly against letting them see anything related to Wicca, Paganism or the Craft, no matter whether it is fiction or non-fiction, it drives me mad to be surrounded by churches preaching to people about how bad we are. I cant tell anyone one i know about my beliefs because ive been told that it would be too dangerous. Why cant we all just coexist?

  • @SparrowHawk541 i know what you mean, sort of at least. i live in Norway, but i go to a Christian school and i got in major problems for DISCUSSING paganism and magic with people even though i did it in a way that didn't let them know I'm pagan. trust in the Goddess and God they will set you free. blessed be

  • i know it is not my place to say this but i personaly belive that we need to fight back against perscusion aafter all christianity took so much from us and from others i think it is time to take from them for once!

    blessed be )0(

  • i have been an open and public pagan (wiccan) and found that the response has been mixed but most are curious and most see what i beleive to be a peacefull path

  • the fact of being burned scares me.

  • @surefirecat That's why Wiccans, and ALL pagans need to stand together.

  • Aye we can never forget what has happened, never forget the ones lost to us. I myself, who dwells within the USA, have been persecuted by those who did not understnad me. Back in school i used to get picked on for my beliefs, well I did not let them beat me down then nor will i let them do it ever. I am Pagan and I hold my head high. I will remember no matter what.

  • Remember Hitler, everyone? Well, the Burning Times gave him the playbook. And guess who filled Hitler's role in the Burning Times? The god-less Popes!

  • Fairies are dancing,

    pagans are singing,

    Goddess and God look,

    God curse what they took.

    Goddess bless Wiccans,

    For these are your clans.

    End the burning times,

    Punish cruel crimes

    Blessed be )o(

  • "Goddess has returned at last!!!!!!"

  • children, women, and men died because monothiests ran out of jews and muslims to fight. is it just me or does wicca seem like the peacful religion instead of christianity?

  • I'm thinking of becoming a wiccan.

  • the "burnings" never stopped...there are more than 9.000 ppl disappear every year

for one or another reason.i think that at least 2000 have some connection!!! coz i'm putting my head on that fact that there are hunters, and its a war out there.and not just like guys with baseball bats,im talking bout the guys jumping from the 3d floor, landing like in some kind of action movie and chasing after the girl in white which sprints like a M%^$ing cheetah, while iam on the second floor spectating

  • this kind of thing..it was after three am,i was smoking a cigarrette,i dont smoke weed so dont get this twisted.the flat above was always empty ever since i could remember...call me whatever you want, but i know what i saw.so i say there is a war out there, ofc its not my business, have you guys heard of the religion called Orthodox?exactly, that means i dont interfere.Anyway i just wanted to say that i doubt that any one of you are a real one, whether it be witch or the hunter,or even know one.

  • To be honest I think that fear is still there. I bet if we became a larger religion, like that of the Christian religion, they would start the hunts all over again. These people are not any different then they were back in Salem. I am not worried, nor am I scared of what they might due because I still bear a grudge for my ancestors that were burned.

  • I thank those who stood their grounds long ago, we have survived through it all. The Goddess has returned at last! Lets not be mad at Christians, not all of them are bad. They are wonderful people, theres just some bad examples of them. The three fold law affects all, whether you believe in it or not.

  • @xPyscosocialDarlingx If their Jesus could see a lot of them now, he would just shake is head. They are not what he had in mind. Blessed Be!

  • @xPyscosocialDarlingx So does this law effects groups of people?

  • I saw on a show once that during the burning times and witch hunts of Europe they even went after the Lutherans because they were competition to the Catholic Church and said they were witches and had them tortured and killed. That was the sole reason they went after the pagans as well it seems, both groups were a threat to them getting enough people to get money =/ I think it was either the History Channel or National Geographic

  • We are Pagans and Wiccans we stand togather with the God and Godess as brothers and sisters true to ourselves and one another we shall overcome does who try to bring us down the burning times still wages but we are strong togather we overcome the hunters we are not weak. Blessed Be my brothers and sisters.

  • @FableOfSouls BLESSED BE! ^_^

  • @FableOfSouls Blessing )O(

  • @FableOfSouls American Indian here forget us not

  • @FableOfSouls Blessed Be )O(

  • Awsome!

  • We r all upset by the burning times, but we should move on instead of feeling anger. I have learned that everything happens 4 a reason so let us move on and live in peace, love, and happiness! Brightest blessings everyone!!

  • the burning time will never be over )0(

  • I dont like christians specially for this reason, To kill innocent witchs and even people not involved in the craft is just sick. I do like my friends and family that are christian but people like that are just..Ugh. Blessed be the fallen witchs, and Goddess bless all! )O(

  • @TheGentlewitch My brother or sister of the craft I know the anger and resent for what has happen but the christian religion is not to blame its some of the nuts heads in it. We can't say we hate the Christians in whole because we wouldn't be any better then the people who call us evil and products of a evil force we don't even believe in. Our mother Goddess teaches us to love and to care to nurture and to listen. We should never forget what happen but also we should never turn into what we hate

  • This song really hits home. It's upsetting knowing that people were burned because they have another belief.....even more upsetting when you discover that it was your ancestors by blood.....I'm shocked I'm not crying.

    )O(

  • The "burning times" is a dark spot in the history of the world. One village after the witch trials had only men left because they condemned both women and children in their hysteria. Millions, were killed in Europe. By the time Salem had theirs, the slaughter in Europe was ending. People fear and hate what they don't understand.

  • makes me angry

  • It is hard to make me cry, but this brought tears to my eyes.

  • I did say the figure of 9 million was disputable. The trouble with this kind of history is, it deals with people who were for the most part invisible, so we can't ever really know. Yes, population was less and also had a quicker turnover. Ditto the 30 years war. But if you study the situation in parts of Africa where witch craft is part of the social fabric, and society itself is unstable for a number of reasons, the picture becomes clearer.

    coraclewoman.

  • the figure of 9million was first put forward by anne llewellyn barstow. This is disuptable - it may be more. Those who died, men, women and children, were in the main not particularly witches either. This was an accusation levelled at the accused by their tormentors. Further, Wales is the only country during the Persecution who did not kill any accused witches.

    coraclewoman

    coracle

  • 9 millions is obviously bollocks. There were far less people in Europe back then. 9 million would be more killed than the 30 years' war probably!

  • We can unite, we can start a peacefully alliance, one showing the facts, one that shows the true hatred they show, which shows how monstrious they are... so they may learn from there mistakes... so they too can become peace within us... not to convert, but to live peacefully, but forseeing that future... starts with destruction...

Merry Meet Merry Part Merry Meet again

    )O( Blessed Be...

  • @koolkid933 Even then it's risky to do so especially with some people....

  • The pagan community, we may agree, needs to establish unity because of this.

  • There are pagans on earth which are still being oppressed and abused by people of other faiths. Some are still being murdered in some nations.

  • @Bruce43229 That's really sad... Whatever people's faith or lack of may be, we should all live in peace. Even if there are debates and arguments, it should never escalate to violence. Blessed Be and peace to you. <3

  • The burning times are not over.

  • Your right. Burning Times still isn't over...

  • @AstralMelody

ur BOTH right. the Burning Times rnt over. itll probably go on till every county and territory is fully developed and able 2 fully understand that witches, the true 1s, rnt evil.

  • @AstralMelody Unfortunately.

  • @Bruce43229 unfortunately =(

  • @OukaHimura123 please expain I don't hear about mass wich hunts ending in burnings but i could be wrong

  • @tas294 we may not have the full out burnings anymore (i'm not too sure if Africa still does it...) some have been threatened to be hung. some are beaten. we may not have the inquisition at our door anymore, however we still face prejudice, discrimination and in some places violence.

  • @OukaHimura123

    its sad but true -_-

  • @tas294 Or "The Catholic Church Torture Tools" on youtube.

  • @tas294 The witch hunts aren't heard about because they happen behind closed doors now.

  • @tas294 in places where governments do not protect people from religious prosecution there are still witch hunts going on. some places in africa for example or peru pagan men women and children are being killed. not neccessarily burned everytime but hunted nonetheless.

  • @Bruce43229 Until our religion is recognized by all there will be persecution and misunderstanding. While "the burning times" of history is over, ours still rages and smolders.

  • @Bruce43229 May the Goddess protect us with her everlasting love. Blessed be brothers and sisters. )O(

  • @Bruce43229 We wont be going into hiding this time though

    Blessed be )O(

  • burning times 1645-1951

  • Wiccans, understand that the burning times weren't so bad. Only about 40,000 Pagans were killed by those "awul, closeminded xtians!".

Stop bashing those xtains for all of your probems, grow up.

  • We're not bashing them. We forgave them. All of my family and friends are Catholics and Christians and half of them know I am Wiccan and they still love and accept me. You think complaining is all we do? Well, your wrong. And yes, it was bad. You know how many people suffered? Of course. You never experienced discrimination.

  • What are or is the xtians?

  • It's short for Christian.

  • OHH!! ok thx ^^

  • ONLY 40,000??? So, in your mind the death of 40,000 innocent women and children is okay because it's a relatively "small" number? And for another thing--we aren't bashing people, we're paying tribute to those who lost their lives. Americans have memorials from all kinds of wars celebrating and mourning for the people who lost their lives, why can't we???

  • I know what you mean, because there are people saying that 9,000,000 people died, which is absurd, but still...

If you were one of those who were killed, and not only killed but put through all those terrible pains and things, sometimes torture, you probably wouldn't be like "only"...

Also: We're not complaining. We're remembering. For ourselves, for the dead and also for this to NEVER AGAIN happen. Like people don't want a World War to come again, and remember, have important dates about it.

  • "Only" 40,000?!! With numbers like that I wouldn't blame them for bashing, even though, as the previous comments point out, they don't. And, yeah, the burning times were bad. The people who died were innocent. If 40,000 Christians were burned to death, I'm sure you wouldn't be using the words "weren't so bad" and "only".

  • ooo only 40,000 killed well that makes it all better dosnt it! its 40,000 to many, just because its not as much as other times its still extreamly bad

  • Oh, it was "only" about 40,000 Pagan deaths, no big deal.

Well what about the Christian folks and others that died, if you don'y care about the Pagans? It wasn't ONLY Pagans that were killed in this insane crusade.

  • @darkstormstress22 it was more like 9 million pagan women who died refusing the popes inquisition and betrayal to the goddess...

  • Dear Born Again Pagans on Halloween lets give homage to our Druid ancestors who have died on a million burning crosses for our religious freedoms! Help Save The Hill of Tara from the M3, long live the Celtic Pagan Kings and Druid's Brehon Laws at the Hill of Tara's Royal Grove.

  • its sad but the witchcraft act in the uk was never taken off but it is not used any more

    thankfully

    bless be )O(

  • the witchcraft act was removed in 1951, thats why there was so much activity back then.

  • i love this song but the words make me cry a little (lol ik im odd). blessed be )O(

  • Maybe the crying is for your fallen comrades of years past.

  • good point

  • i love this song.blessed be )0(

  • i bow my head to all that was lost in the cascades, burning times ,inquisition and any war for that matter (all living being including animals are sacred). those who read this please take the time to bow you head and send your blessings.... ( to all not the followers of a specific religion) thanks!

  • Blessed all those who were massacred during the Burning Times. Blessed Be )O(

  • My sStepFather is a Police Officer, and he accepts my religion, he beleives wicca is just the other side of Christainity, Praising the Goddess insted of just the God. I guess Maybe hes just different,

  • Oh, Bless your stepfather =D

  • You too

    Blessed Be )O(

  • but Ouka, how did you found this out? Was it an article on the web? Can you give me the link.

  • Dr Leo Louis Martello the great man he was in Life had championed the cause of Wicca and won us the right to be called a religion. If there is a problem with someone infinging on that right then take it to the ACLU. Your your closest lawyer.

  • valu...while I respect your beliefs as a Christian, I do wish you would respect our beliefs. it is hardly in good taste to preach the beliefs of a faith whose followers once persecuted and killed followers of the faith your are preaching to. I know your intentions are good, but thus are paved the road to 'hell'.

  • Only we modern Pagans can prevent the past from repeating, DemonKayko. the Christians were persecuted before becoming the persecutors to those who came before us. only by forgiving WITHOUT FORGETTING can we prevent the past from occuring once more.

  • witchcraft will take you to hell

    jesus is alive

Rev 14:7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come.

Rev 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Joh 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Act 2:21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

  • dude stay the heck off of my videos. i respect your God and Jesus, since i grew up with them and the rest of my family believes in them. i've got nothing against them. so go away

  • I respect that in all but dear christian if we worship the devil or w/e why the hell is it a diffrent relgion? We have our belifes and there are some christians that belive in god and jesus but they belive in a goddess and all that too

  • We need not fear any man. We should fight for our relgious rights that were promised to us but not recived

  • Never forget about the Burning Times.

May the Gods bless those of the Lost.

  • What are the burning Times? I really want to know I mean I'm almost a pagan and I need to learn more, btw love the song!

  • ok now i know

  • The time when the christians burned out kind for "killing cursing and worshiping the devil!"

  • Never forget! NEVER! Blessed be )o(

  • Yeah, i did research the day i found this video. I know all about it. I can't forgive people like them...

  • here's the sad thing though,...thousands of years before Christians did this horrific crime, Romans did almost the exact same thing to them...same accusations, burning at the stake, the only difference is that the Roman inquisitors weren't as harsh or aggressive as the Christian ones were. proof of how history repeats itself... dang...latin does come in handy...

  • Yeah, your right. I really hope history won't repeat itself all the time, its really tiresome and painful...

  • unfortunately DemonKayko it does. it has repeated it self countless times. though albeit not always the same as it was the first time. but it always does...

  • i think i will do a vid like this

  • This is one of my favorite songs, this and Conquistadors by I.S.

  • What is sad is that time always repetes itself, Hopefully this wont, but the sad truth is that it will, but always remember defence is best saved for when the enemy is at it weakest, is we contuie to hold strong to the gods/ess we will survive and we will prosper, as will the earth, that is our greatest alley, the earth will send what they did back at them, includeing what they did to his/her body. Blessed be young children of the earth, may the goddess not allow the burning times to return

  • That's why we need our REAL religous freedom! We need to fight for it!

  • Blessed Be to that sister. did u hear about what happened to the priestess in Michigan (i think that's the state) and the officer?

  • No I didnt please inlighten me. I am trying to get my coven to help me I want to stand up to this fucked up country about are rights as wiccans would you like to help?

  • I would like to help if you didnt mind...could anyone share the story about the priestess and the officer for me please?

  • Basically what happened was that a priestess from michigan was driving home and a cop pulled her over for no reason. when she asked what was wrong he had her get out of the car and searched her without a warrant. he found two small Athames in her purse and brought her in, without even telling her why she was pulled over in the first place let alone why she was going to jail. it wasn't until after she was locked up that he said that he pulled her over for swerving a couple of times...

  • now whether or not that is the true reason as to why he pulled her over i don't know, nor do i know if she was a well known priestess...what i do know however is that she was searched without a warrant and that goes against our 4th ammendment right. granted double-edge blades of any sort is apparently illeagal in Michigan but still no searching without warrants that just irks me.

  • OMG such idiots. Don't they even know that she's Pagan/Wiccan?! I guess when they find out they'll release her. I pray they will release her and the cop will feel like a total idiot. Or maybe the cop knew she wasn't christian so he pulled her over and pretended that the Athemes were weapons to kill. Wtf, if its true then Christianity does seem a very hateful religion and he's just making Christians look bad.

  • cops dont like wiccans.

my fiance told me to never tell a police officer that im wiccan because they WILL arreest you...ever though they have no reason to they just dont like wiccans.why I dont know its rediculus if you ask me.pretty much america is a christian nation and no matter of the "freedom of religion" amendment.

  • But why do they do that? And America isn't a Christian nation, only 50% americans are christians, catholics, and anything related to Christianity. I know a guy that is wiccan and he wants to be a cop when he grows up. Gosh, i've got to warn them. But it doesn't give the cops a right to arrest someone because they're not christians. Gosh, now i know why people hate the police...

  • Not all cops hate wiccans. I know a couple in the Kansas city area who are openly wiccan or pagan and have no problems.

  • Yeah, I know. Ha ha...

  • then all evidence against her would be dismissed because it was found illegally without permission or warrant

  • I myself also live in Michigan and have suffered discrimination for being openly pagan. One of the churches i attended years ago was vandalized , the next day they puled me out of work , searched me and my apartment with out a warrant and caused me to miss out on a promotion . In fact i was demoted after that and have been harassed by the police since then

  • I think Obama is too busy to worry about religiously different people.

  • But I do believe it is something he will do after he finished his other business.

  • Well, Christianity really didn't kill the peace. It was the followers who killed it. They wanted to do everything they thought their god wanted but they did some of the things over board with war. Christians do want peace its just that those idiots thought they were pleasing their god with war.

  • Comment removed

  • that is wrong and against your rights. Im sorry to hear about the loss of your promotion.

may the goddess bless you, blessed be

    )O(

  • heck yeah i would! i'm already trying to help out with Gay Rights i'm definately in! =D

  • I live in Illinois and I'm only 13 and i would like to help but I can't. My parents are catholic but they respect the Wiccan/Pagan religion but they would also ask me why would I try to do that? My mom would most likely understand that and she would probably let me help protest. We should write a letter to Obama because of this, surely he would get angry by this and would stop this, he's a very good man.

  • this is wonderfull i love it... christians critisise us about how we are demons... but they should remember the times wen they burned us... no one wants that again... ps can anyone pm me the lyrics to this song??? blessed be... (im evain2uchida just got a new account)

  • this is wonderfull i love it... christians critisise us about how we are demons... but they should remember the times wen they burned us... no one wants that again... ps can anyone pm me the lyrics to this song??? blessed be...

  • )o(

I am so glad this band was formed is gives us Pagans a louder voice. We will not be scilenced again!!!

  • Hell no we won't ;)

    blessings )O(

  • I would fight to my death and never cower in a corner! I pray it would nvr come to this again.. though if it does I say.. "Prepare for battle! I would gladly give my life for love." many blessings all!

  • I'm sure none of us would want that repeated.....nice tribute n_n

Outcasted, I have no problem with it. Rather be hated for who I am than praised for what I'm not. My relatives all hate me anyway, they could care less about happiness

  • that sucks, i dont tell everybody what i practiced because things would be different as to how people see me, they just dont understand.

    many blessings

  • Do not fear man, all they can do is what you let them, would you rather them love you for something your not, or hate you for what you truely are, i take being a wiccan high preist very sacredly, i have been asulted both physicaly, neither times did i fight back, i took it, and then returned it, remember the greatest of sayings patience is a virtue, And if they do physicaly attack you, use their attacks against them, take a punch and grab the arm, and push them to the ground, use passiveness )0(

  • exactly, i get harrassed in school sometimes by some of the older boys, and i calmly explain their mistakes. if they don't change their opinions then i just leave it be. ^-^ i don't try to pick fights with them. they have their opinions and we have ours. the best advice i can give, is don't let their words harm you. you know who you are and you know the truth about what you believe in and what you stand for. ^-^

    Blessings )O(

  • Back then we were burned for witchcraft. These days we're outcasted for being devil worshipers. It's very possible that we could start being burned for believing in the devil AND for witchcraft. Let's hope that doesn't happen.

    Blessings! )O(

  • I am a Pagan. And everytime I hear someone say the cross is a Christian sihn I do my nut. People just refuse to listen to what we have to say but we will not be scilenced.

  • I do exactly the same thing! I just wish I hade the guys to do it in School.

If yoiu want to reply put it on my channel please.
