I have this phone now for almost 4 years. It works perfectly even tough it looks beaten up like a bus would run over it :)

I have this phone. The only disadvantages I found are:

1. The back body is easily scratched (paint chips).

2. The click of the manual exposure control button is too loud that it records while video recording.

3. The processor is too slow for its features which is very noticeable while using Media viewer and while video recording (video recording pauses for a while while changing exposure).

But the rest of its features are good. I like this phone.

The camera has no autoFocus i would know i have one, the quality of the pictures are great comparable with 5mp digital cameras BUT there is NO AUTOFOCUS so if you have shaky hands dont buy!

Does this thing have handsfree? i mean when you get a call you just press loudspeaker n you dont need to plug in anything. Does it have handsfree?

my t700 won't ring when someone calls me, it only goes to vibrate. anyone know how to fix this?

@superchaoo7 you are maybe on the silent mode or go to menu then settings then go sounds and alerts and chek the ringing volume then go to vibrating alert

ermm im not sure. tbh the games are a bit of a weak point. im not too sure but it may just be that im on o2... but certainly seems lacking in that area. :(

I saw you said you have the T700, do you know if it has the light feature? Where you can use it as a flash light? That's mostly what I look for in a phone and looks like Sony Ericsson doesn't have that feature anymore.

The flashlight puts all my friends phones to shame. Its A simple toggle on and off in the camera mode and doesnt waste battery noticeably, it easily lights up atleast 2 metres infront of you even though its small it packs some punch! ;) x

sony ericsson still hact apealed to cuz their controls and features aren't universal. like the USB cable has ericsson propriotary instead of micro USB and then there's the micro card which is the M2 or sumfin instead of the microSD. and even the control buttons [soft keys, D-pad area] are in a world of its own.

thats a big sony problem, they want to sell their own accessories, good thing they didnt pull that shit with proprietary cables for the ps3
