One of my neighbors was doing about 30km/hr on a scooter and a car opened its door. She hit the door then fell off her scooter sideways bouncing her head against the pavement....killing her. She was wearing a helmet, but didn't have the strap done up.
Since damage to old man's scooter seems limited to right side (fairing & foot rest) and young man's damage to front, only possible explination is old man's scooter turning left from main road in front of young man's scooter coming from opposite direction on the same street. Anything else inconsistent with damage. Your rant about debris bit over the top. In USA, road dept cleans up after accidents. EMT's worry about injuries, not neatness. Police assess accident & control traffic, not clean.

Hey! not all the 3rd world Countries are the same. I am a paramedic in Mexico and we do not do the same with the gloves, we keep all the material in special containers. But, nice video, its hard to see how some "profesional" paramedics do that in taiwan..

Yeah, in Hong Kong they'd have people in biohazard suits cleaning it up. A friend of a friend of mine is a guy who picks up brain matter for a claenup crew, his partner does blood, the 3rd guy does parts. Sad but true, at least they're organized ;-)

One of my neighbors was doing about 30km/hr on a scooter and a car opened its door. She hit the door then fell off her scooter sideways bouncing her head against the pavement....killing her. She was wearing a helmet, but didn't have the strap done up.

Since damage to old man's scooter seems limited to right side (fairing & foot rest) and young man's damage to front, only possible explination is old man's scooter turning left from main road in front of young man's scooter coming from opposite direction on the same street. Anything else inconsistent with damage. Your rant about debris bit over the top. In USA, road dept cleans up after accidents. EMT's worry about injuries, not neatness. Police assess accident & control traffic, not clean.
