so i5 2500k + GTX 570 wont run this @ solid 60fps on ultra?

I get solid 60fps on Medium/High w/ my GTS 450

I have a 2500k@ 4.3Ghz, GTX570@900/1800 and 8gigs of ram, but I only play BF3 on high with 2xAA. I wouldn't trust it to always be smooth if I played on ultra

I have a GTX 570 (EVGA) nvidia gpu, and my games still lag a whole lot, and it's not my ping:(

I have DirectX 11.0, 1080P 22 in. Monitor, Win 7 64-bit, i7 3.33 GHz (12 CPUs), and 12288MB RAM (1 terrabyte estimated).

on games like Skyrim, Mafia II, GTA IV, and Battlefield 3, I lag a lot with anti-aliasing, or just lag in general. i downloaded all of the new drivers, and nothing seems to help.

any suggestions? D:

Is there a huge difference between a regular gtx 570 and a superclocked, I recently purchased a Zotac gtx 570 and I was wondering if that will perform the same or worse as the benchmarks you have. Some of the gameplay with the regular gtx 570 haven't had that high of fps. Could someone please answer thanks.

Any word on if BF3 utilizes the HT of the 2600k? I have heard that it does not, and HT actually hurts it. Any truth to this? Similar set-up as you, 2600k, 580 SC, 16gb RAM.

What Harddrive are you recording to? Or are you recording to a SSD? Also, are you recording Halfscreen, and at what framerate?

@AxelFyren raid 0 - 2 WD black caviar 750GB drives. SSD's are garbage for recording fraps. recording full screen, and as the benchmarks showed, just about the same framerate as if I wasn't recording.

You should try out Dxtory, it's free and doesn't affect fps that much when recording
