While the acting wasn't superb what was she supposed to be doing? Screaming profusely like all other woman in Horror flicks.

They just get so annoying after a while:)

And the creature reminded me a lot of the Thing so that was definite + brownie points for me:)

Well here is the thing- we cant get al of our responses out but I (guy in the hat) am not a horror guy- I will give my best opinion on it, Mark and David know more about it. I am a sci fi nerd and will see anything sci fi or fantasy so if you are the same with horror, I get why you dug it.

BTW I noticed U guys made a small mistake. The Black Guy never actually dies first in horror movies. In all other movies they do but not in horror movies. In horror movies usually the first to die is some random yet unimportant retarded White Girl that no seems to know other the main char.

The White Girl will usually die by walking into the basement or some dark place after hearing some strange noise or witnessing a dark figure.
