@MelleB90 music isn't all about how well or fast you can play the guitar.. music is about conveying the songs and the emotions. if these guys can portray what they want with only playing 'below average' guitar and 'indifferent talking', that's truly amazing. Many musicians loose track of the song, and get caught up in how complicated they can make it just to impress people like you. The xx have striped music down to it's core, so beautifully, it's refreshing and reminds us what music is about

Anyone can produce over-the-top blasts of instant catharsis in their music, but it really does take talent to pull back, turn the dial down, and create gentle, careful music that breathes.
