I have a question for Juan. He stated that it was illegal for undocumented aliens to receive any public assistance. My question is: After the illegal immigrant has a child here in the United States, does that new 'citizen' not become eligible and actually receive food stamps? Everyone on U.S. soil is "subject to the laws enacted in that jurisdiction", but not everyone is a "subject to the jurisdiction of the United States". When this issue reaches the Supreme Court, even Soto-Mayor or whatever her name is will not be able to wiggle out of that.

School costs $10,000 per child per yr, for example. If you have 2 kids, to cover their education you would have to pay $20,000 per year in LOCAL tax,since fed tax isn't what pays for schools. Health care & other costs are subsidized as well.
That is why we limit how many poor can come to the US. Their better life is at OUR expense

Foreign nationals should not be able to come to the US simply to give birth unless a legitimate medical necessity. The practice is so popular that travel agents offer birth tourism vacation packages so that the newborns of foreign mothers can become U.S. citizens. Obviously, this outlandish practice must stop.

Wow, the case is pretty damn clear cut. "...subject to the jurisdiction thereof," MEANS that a person who is subject to US law, aka someone who came here legally. If you're illegal, you're still subject to Mexican laws because you're still a Mexican citizen. DONE end of story.

I think no accountablility is being taken on the illegal immagrants part. First off, as far as them getting no benefits well thats the risk you run when you decide to come here ILLEGALLY! 2 The 14 amendment was created for black slaves & aisan people to gaurentee their children citizenship, It is not refering to illegal immigrants that problem did not exhist then. 3 When they have anchor babies, it gives them access to welfare benefits. RESEARCH people and stop pulling the race card.
