for Stoner fans it's the 800cc era. but Rossi fans have been along much longer than that. long enough to know that Rossi has dominated across eras. even two world championships during the 800cc era of the "legendary" Casey Stoner. @horayman Not a fair comparison, from 2006 to 2010 Stoner was on a shitty bike, first private Honda 990cc Cecchinello and after the Ducati 800cc, and Rossi was on the best bike... Now with the same bike of Stoner, and even more developed, Rossi is always near the sixth-seventh position... Imagine Stoner with a decent bike from 2006 to 2010... And stop whining about the incident in 2010, Lorenzo was clearly superior with the same bike... You Rossi's fanboys are moaner, not Stoner...

I find is disgraceful how in the MotoGP Rewind for Jerez people were saying Stoner's a cunt for his comments about Rossi's behaviour, but now he's probably going to win the championship people start supporting him. Once you pick your favourite rider you can't suddenly change just because there going to win all the time. Stoner will take the title this weekend and he deserves it. But Ducati haters take note - they are the only constructor to win the MotoGP title (2007) from the Japanese since 1973. WSBK title this year on a bike that wasn't supposed to be competitive. Strong sales continue in this bad economy. Why? 2007 Ducati was superior to Yamaha in every aspect but that was the year they changed to 800cc. Since then, Ducati has been inferior to Yamaha as has every other manufacturer. Not taking anything away from Stoner but he clearly won both championships when his bike was far beyond superior. However saying that Rossi managed to win with the best bike aswell, but he proved in 04 and 05 when Yamaha was nowhere near the Honda that he can still win with ease.
