I think people have to realise you need to press 'SQUARE/BOX' or the XBOX equivalent (left coloured button, can't remember what letter it is) once you get to each door, that may be why it's not working for them.

@Kennedy640 you gotta go back over where the lift is then shoot a portal at 1:10, then go down some of the stairs and you should be able to jump down under the lift and use momentum to fly across. i think thats what you mean

@OwlCity4223 I suggest you play the game yourself. The first Portal can be found on "The Orange Box" game collection or for DLC on XBL, PSN, or Steam marketplace. I highly urge you to play both games. It's quite an experience.

@OwlCity4223 basicly, its a puzzle game where you shoot one portal in one spot and another portal in another, and you go through one and come out the other. that sounds simple, but theres more to it than that. going through portals, you maintain velocity. so if you jump from high up and land into a portal below, you will go flying out the other. i suggest watching some youtube videos about the game, and if you think you'll like it, buy it!
