@catdogfishy Polymer clay needs to be baked. Time or glaze won't do the trick.

i was just wondering, does the clay ever stick to your rolling pin?

i've been using a ceremic mug as mine, and it works really well, but i thought that if i used a wooden one, it would stick?

@janicepyc Thanks :) Yes it does sometimes stick to the rolling pin. You may use something like potato starch flour/corn flour..whatever you can find, that'll keep the stickiness of the clay to a minimum.

pearls?..glittery clay, you mean? FIMO has some already glittered clay.. but sometimes I add a little glitter afterwards, after baking. Using glaze as a "glue".

I bought my sculpy at walmart, it was about $6 for the white 500g box. but at the walmarts by my house they only sell these bigger boxes of only white.

Thank you. Well I used to make pots, vases etc. from (real) clay. But then found out about polymer clay and found a couple of tutorials and began making things. Nowadays if I want to make something I just "wing it"...and hopefully the result will look good :P

Hi I'm Canadian also. No, Walmart doesn't usually have that sort of thing. Your best bet is to go to Michael's craft store. They have just about everything there. Also as he said try ebay. I got a ton of clay there at a really great price :)

how do you cook this into hard clay? at what temperature and for how long?

First of all it depends what clay you use. FIMO, Cernit & Sculpey are all almost the same but you should look the exact temperature & time on the packacing. But I'd say about 110~C/230~F and for 15-30minutes.
