  • I had that same pistol, damn I MISS IT! should have never traded it off. think i will buy another one.

  • @artifactman660 They are a lot of fun and firepower. Thanks for watching. : )

  • in my opinion if you brush chrome the slide and leave the barrel black it would look awesome.

  • @Mrgunman308 I will agree with that. i would love one in every option they have except the Gold plated, its a little much. lol. Thanks. : )

  • I have 2 desert eagles , and they have a tool to remove bol grips and ream out barrel gas port.

  • @glock2026 These did not have the tool. They were not my DE's but I had done some work on them and they came out great. Thanks bro... : )

  • Thanks for the video, definitly the most complete one on Youtube. I have a unit going in for hard chrome and this video will help me prepare my gun for the plating job.

    Take care and good work.

  • @gmppti I thank you for watching it. I would also love to see a video on the chrome job when it is done. That would be great. Thanks again. : )

  • You really should make a video: desert eagle mag catch removal - by the way your video are excellent keep up the good work I have learned much from you thanks much !!!

  • @30Tommy I appreciate that. I love making these videos and it really makes me happy when I hear that they have helped some people out. I will do the DE mag. removal video as soon as I can retrieve the firearm and have time. I keep some of my firearms locked up in storage especially the ones I do not use much because of ammo costs or what not. Thanks, I will do my best. : )

  • Can you tell me how to change out the magazine catch thanks much

  • @30Tommy I thought it came out just like the 1911 but the gentlemen that commented below you says that you need a special tool. I will have to get the DE out and see for myself but it might be a couple of weeks before I can do that. Sorry but if I have not posted back to you by then, let me know and I will do a video on it. Thanks and sorry again. : )

  • @chrome freak: I had to disassemble my DE completely, so I know it does not work like with a 1911...it took me a long time to figure it out how to remove this damn part without scratching everything - it's not easy without special tools (put possible). ;-))

  • @sodahl Well I appreciate the heads up and will try as soonas I can get to the pistol. I like not easy, I am stupid that way. Really, thank you.

  • @ChromeFreak123 : LOL, OK then you will like it!! You might need a very small tweezers or similar - the little "screw" is not a screw but a kind of a split bolt...you have to press both ends together to remove it...now I am sure you will LOVE it ;-)))

    Sven

  • @sodahl I do enjoy the challenge of disassembling firearms and putting them back together and there are not many that can beat me, in fact I have had only 1 over the years that I needed help on. lol. I am not bragging, it is just my passion. I thank you for letting me know. : )

  • Comment removed

  • is the release left handed or right handed?

  • @malevolenceXXXensues The mag. release is located on the left side of the firearm, so it is really a right handers release. However, I know lefties who have no problem with hitting the mag. release in its location. I guess you could consider it as a training issue, it can be over come by practice. Thanks.

  • @ChromeFreak123 can it use 44 special?

  • Nice video, but removing the magazine release requires a special tool - It does NOT work like with a 1911!!!

  • @sodahl I have not taken the magazine release off this pistol but I have looked at it pretty good and I do not see the need for a special tool. I do not have the pistol with me, it is in storage but I will get next time I go to my facility and I will try and take it out. I am not saying you are wrong, I just don't know for sure. Thanks and I will get back to you when I do try it and if you are right, I will let you know. I am not an expert but have been doing disassembly's my whole life. Thanks.

  • Is this a mark 7?

  • @hamcheesesalami Yes, I believe it is. Thanks.

  • how much does it cost to make your 44 shoot 41?

  • @poopz Whatever the price of the ammo is. Thank you.

  • @ChromeFreak123 oh it fits in the same mag and barrel ?

  • @poopz Yes Sir it sure does. I love that pistol and in .44/.41 it is a pleasure to shoot. Thanks.

  • I do not want to just put it away I paid good money for it and it worked fine but all of a sudden you can't pull it back. If you can email me at.... jrecw1@msn.com or even better a video of what to do. as a possible miracle fix PLSSSSS

  • I was so excited to see your video. I am a female and bought this gun as a suprise for someone it is an IMI 44mag Desert Eagle with burris scope and a laser. Well my question is can you pls give me an idea what to do because the slide will no longer slide to engage ammo. It's like it is locked. I have taken it to three gun shops here in Arkansas yea (lol) and noone can help me. I really think they didn't have a clue as to disassembly or reassemble.

  • @96Cort It is very late and I am just getting your message. Yes, I will try and help you.. I will pm you my phone #. I will do my best ti figure the problem out and we will try to fix it. I am sorry you are having these issues. Try me tomorrow night. Thanks.

  • wow amazing job in such a short time frame. The desert eagle is such an intimidating firearm it was nice to see you man handle it and tear it down into little pieces lol. Please leave this video up as io will reference to it in the future when i get one of my own thanks

  • @JAG6363 I appreciate the kind words. I will leave it up and I am real happy you find it informative. Thanks again. : )

  • Thanks im making a model of the desert eagle, and i needed to see every last detail like this, thanks. :)

  • @wafflemonster8 You are welcome, please, when you are done, I would love to see a pic or even a video on it. Thanks.

  • @ChromeFreak123 Well this may sound funny, but the model is of paper. lol. but its a bit of a challenge and many do so, with caps, or powder many make the models shoot. I know, paper sounds funny, but search around youtube, and you might find some really good ones. Check out Tacome1942 and look at his model K98 and others, thats what i mean.

  • @wafflemonster8 I knew what you meant, I have seen some on yt. I wish I had the talent to do one myself. I would love to see it when you are done. Thanks.

  • @ChromeFreak123 thanks for making the video. it helps :D

  • @wafflemonster8 You are welcome. : )

  • Now, one quick question, I fired a .387 variant, and I was wondering if the disassembly varied at all, you know, because of the smaller barell.

  • @giovanni8994 I don't know how I missed your comment, I am sorry. I do not think that there are any differences at all but I could be wrong. I have never handled any other caliber DE. I am pretty sure the design would stay the same though. Sorry again and thanks for asking.

  • Thanks for the great video, I have a .44 Mark VII that I am going to refinish and this will help a bunch in getting that done!

  • @pinellaspirate Thanks for stopping by and for the kind words. : )

  • @jimkressin It is an awesome pistol. I think the D.E. in .44 mag. has got to be one of the sweetest shooting pistols I have had the pleasure to play with. They are built like tanks. lol. Thank you and happy new year.

  • hey, i just got my desert eagle in 357, i only shot like 15 rounds but 5 mins after i used it, something weird happened, i cant open my slide, it feels like it is stuck and i just cant open it, if i try to dissasemple the gun the whole slide will move as if the barrel was the same part as the slide, can u help me out??

  • @ecabrerad90 The barrel is kinda hard to explain but I would watch my video and then try and disassemble. If you still cant do that, pm for my # and I will try and walk you through it. Let me know. Merry Christmas.

  • Man, I never knew you could disassemble big hand cannon so thoroughly. Excellent job, thanks for the vid.

  • @PunchRockGroin I love taking a firearm down, it is my hobby. lol. I have to do it to evry firearm I can get. I also have fallen for the DE, especially in .44Mag. Thanks.

  • @MrYarnspinner It is an embarrassing video, lol. I think it might be in my favorites. It was not good. lol.

  • Great video I learned alot about the Desert Eagle from watching this thanks bro.

  • @SyrianKnight01 You don't know how happy it makes me when I hear people tell me that, Thank you, glad it helped.

  • awesome vid Mike!! maybe ill look into a 44 next time

  • @theARMORYchannel Thanks Pete, it is a sweet firearm to admire and to shoot as well.

  • how would you deactivate it

  • @scouser96100 What do you mean by deactivate ?

  • @ChromeFreak123 its what gun collectors do if they just want to display it it stops it firing

  • @ThePistolChannel I will try and do that more but it is more difficult for me to work on. I understand what you are saying and will try. Thanks.

  • @ThePistolChannel Will do, thank you.

  • Is it OK to dry fire that gun?

  • @ArtisanTony Yes, I would not do it a bunch of times for no reason but as long as it is not rimfire, it is ok in most cases to dry fire. Thanks.

  • You make this look so easy, awesome video!

  • @fredhart Thanks Fred, I appreciate it. It really is not that difficult once you do it, it then becomes much easier.

  • now would be a great time to look for a used DE. guys are selling their DEs and buying SW 500s.

  • @FloridaSnookHunter You are right about that. I have always kinda looked at the DE as more a novelty pistol but after playing with it for a while, I have fallen for it. lol. Thank you.

  • @ChromeFreak123 Cool video BTW thanks for sharing.

  • ahhh,, what a wonderful cartridge the 44mag is. That pistol could be a very effective Hog killing machine. its got to be reliable though, have you ever had it jam?

  • @FloridaSnookHunter It is very reliable however, it takes a break-in period of a few hundred rounds to get everything nice and working together properly. Thanks.

  • How is this .44 vs .50 when Disassemble it? And is the Model XIX from 2010 different from others? Ive read design is little different.

Could you do video for it too if you have one?

  • @l33thustla I am not sure about the models being different. I will check into that as soon as I can. As far as disassembly, they are the same. I do have a 50 that I will shoot on Wed. night. It is not my firearm, it belongs to someone who is having me clean it for them. Let me know what you want and I will try and video it while I have the firearm, Thanks.

  • Yes thanks, would be nice to see that in video if its diff and when I need to clean I could use it as tutorials.

  • where do you learn all this stuff? is the a book i can read

  • @nubcakehero I am self taught. A lot of trial and error. lol. I do sometimes use a blown up parts diagram and try and figure everthing out that way. It can be confusing but I have been playing with firearms my whole life. lol. Thanks. If I can help you in any way, let me know.

  • @razback14 Not really, a couple of practice strips and I was off to the races. It is a pretty easy and basic firearm. Very well built but basic none the less. Thanks bro. and I am going to try like heck to get a vid up for you. I left my camera somewhere and can only use my iphone until next weekend. We will see. Thanks.

  • Hope you feel better man. Thanks for the video I have never seen a DE dissassembled before, very informative and fun to watch!

  • @BeanDip0913 I appreciate you watching and giving me feedback on it. If there is a firearm you would like to see detailed stripped, please let me know. Thanks again.

  • @SOFSEC1 Thursday.

  • @OutsideOfTheWire It sure is. I am starting to really like it a lot. Thanks.

  • Good vid Mike take care bro.

  • @mylabsam Man am I glad to see you back bro.. Thank you.

  • Very Informative!!

  • @Lookinformemarbles Thanks Marbles.

  • thats a beast. nice vid

  • @Brandon401401 A beautiful beast. lol. Thanks.

  • Wow, those grips are a pain! You would think they would just use some screw!

  • @Mrcaffinebean They are tough to get off. Thanks.

  • hi. thanks for this vid, very detailed and easy to follow. you sure know your guns

  • @confessionsofagasman Thank you, I am always learning. It is a hobby. Thanks.

  • Grreat video!

  • @Zarthalad Thank You. : )

  • Thanks for posting, this is very interesting. And you figured out how to make everything visible in the video really well.

  • @moneyfan I am learning, now to edit. lol. Thanks.

  • seeing this monster in that two tone finish makes me reconsider in purchasing one in the near future

  • @speedwaypinoy I know, it is beautiful. Thank you.

  • Great pistol. I personally have the .50AE and love it. Although I get some people that say these pistols arent worth the steel they're made of, I've always had reliability and most imporant...fun while shooting any magnum research pistols. Mine has proven extreme reliability. I tend to find that the people who tell me these pistols are not accurate, unreliable and pieces of crap..simply have never owned one or most likey ever shot one. Love the gun. Keep up the excellent video!

  • @chanderson1 I am thinking differently of it now that I have got a good look at one. They are quality and tough. Thanks.

  • Good job Mike! Give me a call again sometime.

  • @humans4targets2 I will, Paul. Thanks.

  • beautiful

  • @thegeno64 It is. Thanks.

  • ★★★★★

  • @MadBadVoodo Thank You MBV.

  • I shot the .44, what a beast!!! lookin forward to shooting the.50AE

  • @76PRIDENGLORY I am going to be taking the .50 AE out very soon. Thanks.

  • I rarely see duo tone deagles, you got some awesome disassemble videos, your 1911 vids helped me a ton, great video

  • @TNPviewer That is one of the reasons I like this one so much. It looks great. Thanks.

  • this video will be helpful when I get enough money to buy my dream arsenal

  • @tnb4mnf I hear you. Thanks.

  • looks like you've done that 100 times

  • @lskw1 Just a couple with the DE. Thanks bro...

  • The DE is a BEAST, and I have to admit, when I was offered to shoot the .50 I was like "fuck that" because immediately I just imagined the recoil knocking me on my ass lol. Good video, thanks for posting

  • @XxLeggZxX I was expecting a lot more from the .44 mag myself but, it was very light. Thanks.

  • Is that the watermelon assassinator you used in an earlier vid? I cannot remember the title, sorry.

  • @MongoWongo777 The watermelon wasn't my video although it sounds like a great idea. lol. Thanks.

  • @MongoWongo777 lol i think ur thinking of hickok45

  • It has a very rifle-type bolt, didn't know that! Hey, how did firing the .50AE feel?

  • @DemonHide It has a lot more recoil than the .44 mag. does. Nothing that is crazy though. This heavy pistol and the heavy recoil system really works well. Thanks.

  • sweet gun, sorry sweet canon!!!!!!

    thanks for your time

    roger

  • @RNURSEWOODS Thank you for your time, I appreciate you watching and commenting.
