if it mass produces for phones...... some dumb person is bound to brake the darn thing by just throwing it around; due to the moving parts. hm.... great idea though, needs some revision.
I think it's because of the camera .... cuz when I try filming a TV with a video pro cam it also gives these moving parts, so I don't think it's from the screen
cool, but seems very complex! Im impressed they have the means for mass manufacturing. I wonder how well it works when shacken? Youd imagine the "pixels" would go nuts with all those moving parts moving out of control

ok in LCD .. we have a DEAD PIXEL caused by some led not functioning properly..
so this shutter display we'll have .... what?

Moving parts degrade faster over time ..... but still a great innovation ... maybe it has some unique applications..
