  • Wow!!! Beautiful techniques.

  • this is like watching shemnue

  • WOW WHO IS THAT GUY! i want more... he is excellent

  • WOW THAT GUY SI GREAT!

  • The fact that you call them "Cage fighters" shows were the ignorance truly lies. It's sad too because this is a good video. Your insecurity is so great making it apparent that MMA is a bit too hard for you. I am a part of the JKD community as well, and Guru Dan would be greatly saddened to so your attack on a hard working, new breed of martial artist.

  • @Jessestewart12 Dude... Who cares what label he used! This man's message is spot on in that any tom, dick, or harry can join any MMA style gym, get proficient, and go around acting like a bad ass. A true martial artist learns the art to become a better human being for the sake of humanity, not to be a bad ass or win some "cage match". BTW, this guy would ROCK in the MMA world. His martial skill is excellent IMO... Much respect to your opinion, but I wholeheartedly disagree.

  • @jsngill Well, he could have used "Douch bag". It's rather obvious that the guy is attacking the MMA community (and a it's funny because a lot of the JKD community walks around with the same kind of 'attitude')

Your quote "this guy would rock in the MMA world" is exactly what I am talking about. We will never know will we. Because MMA deals in absolutes my friend. . I respect some guy who sucks it and puts his rear on the line to fight just as much as the guy who studies Karate for 20 years.

  • @Jessestewart12 Interesting...calling an MMA fighter a "cage fighter" is the functional equivalent of calling him a "douch bag" in your mind. Nevertheless, your point is well taken. Those who fight in the ring risk severe injury to test their skills as opposed to those who simply train in the controlled environment of a dojo. In the end, putting down one art for another is like saying rap music is better than rock or vice versa. It's all a matter of taste. Thanks for the friendly debate!

  • Beautiful and enchanting setting ...almost makes me want to dust my old suit off.

  • good stuff, liking the flowing techniques!

  • @lamike121 Man that rules! Great clip! Haha, I love the break falls 2, its like being able 2 fly! Absorbing that much power through your body and rolling back up is such a blast! Check out the first third of my Shodan test on my channel. I tested under Sensei Claude Berthaiume of Aikido de la Montagne in Montreal. If u guys r near the NY area we do a week long summer camp in late July "watch?v=zgp-436Tq3E" lots of great training I'm @ 0:42 throwing Mike whose a total beast and great 2 train with

  • just out of curiosity how long have both of you guys in the video been studying what you practice?

  • great video,I think both guys do aikido and jujutsu,i see no jkd....

  • 2:38 )

  • hey bro..what was that move you did at 2;42? looked like a combination of jiu jitsu and aikido there. i study both..and that looked really badass! was that a nikyu-arm bar?

  • Fluid and powerfull just like water. :)Awesome vid. Thumbs up!

  • if you hear carefully the fight got it's own rythm like a battery solo, beautiful!

  • You guys are awesome ! I think the jujitsu guy was unnecessarily too brutal, but totally loved it ! more please :)

  • "Wow! Great Demo, like this!

How Small Guys Beat GIANTS in BJJ

    MicroBJJ (dot) com"

  • Jujutsu and aikido are good but aikido is better i am green belted in aikido

  • Jujitsu will always reign supreme.....I am a yellow belt in the Jukido Jujitsu system.

  • @GarryMc67 i train in the bathgate area two nights a week, not sure about glasgow area but have seen a few guys from further west than me while attending seminars etc. try google or directory mate

  • @framac77

Cheers bud. I've had a look on google and it just seems to be BJJ classes, I'll find one eventually.

  • 02:56 to 03:03 Made me smile, nice one.

  • these guys are good

  • i luvvvvvv it :)

  • Man that is awesome.........I like how you set it up with the morals and a values before trying to.be Johnny from Cobra ky......too much of that these days jersey shore wannabes walkin around with their affliction tshirts that barely fit trying to fit everyone cause they saw one UFC fight

  • is this really choreographed ? or was it real reaction from the jujitsuka

  • Your intro is amazing! very true. Also very good to see real martial artists practicing real self defense and real jujitsu.

  • I love this video but I wish the Aikido guy did more moves. It was mainly the Jiujutsu guy doing all his moves. If yall make another, show off more Aikido please.

BTW: Favorit move. Jijutsu guy guy knocks Aikido guy off balance and picks him up by Hakama and makes him fall backwards.

  • and this is why i dont mess with chinese...excuse me, asian dudes. I assume that they all, since a pre teen, have received some of this fine lethal martial arts training that would decapitate you in a fight. Maybe this is why I've rarely or never seen any one I've know, fought or mentioned fighting with any Asians. either that or they just don't bother you in the first place. Either way, can't wait to sign up. Love this shit

  • What style of jujitsu are you studying?

  • Awesome guys! Good moves, true look at a bit of jkd, jujitsu, and good aikido for that matter!

  • Excellent video!! I am sincerely impressed. Where do you all train?

  • This is FAKE

  • excellent video guys really enjoyed it! I'm currently learning traditional ju-jitsu in scotland, have recently attained green belt and just love it more n more with every session, i really hope i can get to this level of skill

  • @framac77

Where in Scotland do you train in traditional ju-jitsu? Don't happen to know any places in Glasgow? I've been looking into starting but all I can find is Brazilian JJ, which just seems to be rolling about on the ground for sport, and Aikido (which I'd be content settling with but I'd prefer ju-jitsu).

    Any reply appreciated. Cheers

  • *guy taps out*

    First guy: You alright????

    Second guy:*flips first guy*

    First guy:OH SHIT

  • I like it, well done

  • Great demo

  • lol love that, you alright? then he knocks him over hahha

  • That shit was so sick at 2:39-2:50 awesome video guys

  • very cool demonstration, with a lot of technique and strength... but it just doesn't look like jiu jitsu.

  • 2:57 - 3:01 cheeky but hehe i like it

  • You guys are great partners, you have both fun while training but also learn a lot from it, I must say both practitioners were great ukemi and tori.

  • Good video 5 stars ! looks like you guys had fun making it too

  • A lot of people are using the word "choreographed" here. I suspect this is a misunderstanding of what the word means; this is obviously not choreographed. Obviously, these techniques were learned as kata and practiced that way many times, a far cry from the spontaneous rigor of MMA sport training, but firing those techniques from the hip in this dynamic way is not choreography.

  • Out of curiosity how many people have taken either style of jujitsu ??

some of these comments are surprising

  • To Ponstr Yes the moves were choreographed but would you have watched the other guy get his arms broken ??? it was a demonstration of technique. These moves are dangerous and not to be taken lightly.

  • That Flying armbar was just too cool. This was so well executed. Well done my friends.

  • is the blue guy doing Japanese or brazilian jujitsu

  • @MonsterHuntard Japanese Jujitsu. Brazilian Jujitsu is pretty much just ground-fighting.

  • @MonsterHuntard japanese jujitsu (blue guy)

  • @MonsterHuntard

    BJJ is Ground fighting dude.

  • wow nice vid some wiked techniques / takedowens. gd stuff

  • i just want to say you guys fucking rock. i love true style jujutsu. now people think juijitsu is just ground work for fucking mma. its sad really. thank you guys for keeping what its about alive. plus your both good as fuck

  • His stand up looks a bit like jeet kune do .

  • @21quackman 2nd

  • By the ranting introduction (kinda self-defeating) I take it you guys don't compete.

Nice choreography though, fast and smooth.

  • I really like this video.

im even planning to take jiu jutsu someday.

i've been searching up jiu jutsu lately and saw people saying that jiu jutsu is basicly grappling, joint locks, and throws. But in this video you added punches. i really like how you added punches into it.

im just wondering is there punches involve with jiu jutsu? and is there differnt kind of jiu jutsu fighting styles out there? if so what is your style? because i like it :D

  • @williamsansee1997 he said he added a little "flare" to it

  • @williamsansee1997 Hey man, I've actually just started taking jujitsu lessons (specifically, Sport Jujitsu). Originally, jujitsu didn't evolve punches/strikes, because they weren't effective with an armored opponent (so instead, they applied throws and joint locks). Different types, such as Sport jujitsu, have strikes/kicks, otherwise they borrow techniques from other styles, such as Kung Fu, Taekwondo, Karate, etc. Best of luck! It's a fun endeavor!

  • @williamsansee1997 jujitsu isnt about punching - but no martial art restricts you from doing anything at all; just because someone does jujitsu doesnt mean they automatically dont punch and kick anymore. thought id just say :)

  • Good video, good camera, good shots, good edition.

What' the jujutsu style that the blue gi man practices? I liked it.

    Please answer.

    Thanks.

  • The aikido guy should learn in-fighting.also preemptive strike.

  • GREAT VIDEO..IM LOOING INTO TAAKING SOME JUJITSU CLASSES

  • Amazing, thank you for posting this!

  • @OVERCAPITALIZE thanks mate (:

  • I love martial arts, but I don't like the idea of hitting someone and causing damages.

I would like to learn a martial art that enables defense with just a little harm. Aikido, Judo...

  • @miss19lolo hapkido as well, as long as u use the join lock not the full blown attacks

  • That is so cool.

  • Teach me dad

  • I love your words in the beginning so true

  • U r obviously stupid or you forgot the guy in the blue gi was aikido not the white gi

  • This is what I like about Martial arts, even if one loses he/she remembers to have fun and show resepct to friends... i know he flipped him off at the end but still you can tell they are friends...:D

  • i pratice judo and muay thai and im rella impressive, its awsome all couter-attacks and finalizations

    for the dumbest ppl

jujitsu its different of JIU-jitsu iam brazilian and i can say bjj sucks, most of them dont have respect or a filosophy(99%), but i really liked jujitsu and aikido, and i wanna try to learn some moves,

BJJ only have ground, but in a fight in real life (99%) most of them will end on feet and plz you cant compare a martial art with another one.

  • @dgcabrall

finally a brazilian youtube commet that isn't a overconfident asshole.

  • bullies prepare yourselves........

  • Very good. For people that don't follow/understand these arts ( esp' the MMA UFC Types ) they tend to brush it off as nonsense, purley because they have not experienced it, but you guy's have done a great job creating a video that does portray the reality of it...Great work and great technique...as for the 'Mind' of Aikido...well they def' won't ever understand that, that's why they do MMA in the first place.

  • @TheMidnightOnline hey im into traditional ma but why are you insulting MMA

its a incredible sport, bringing martial arts to the masses and encourages sparring, which is key if you wish to be able to fit in real life. And it promotes grappling which is the smart mans method of fighting (I feel so)

  • @JKT6 My reasons for disliking MMA, esp' the whole Western Celebrity version of it is.....it tends to 'breed' ill disciplined, ego driven meat heads (I'm not saying you are that), evidence for this is everywhere esp' on youtube, a GOOD Martial Art however when taught to it's traditional roots does not, that's a fact. Secondly when you learn MMA you are learning a drop in the ocean of a vast art, for example Japanese Ju Jitsu - the 2000 year old Battle field Art NOT a Sport!

  • Cont' - When you learn BJJ you a learning a 'pin prick' of such a vast art (Japanese Ju Jitsu) that takes decades NOT months to master, and again what is learnt is then diluted to suit a sport enviroment with rules and restrictions. Finaly my friend as advice if ever you have to defend yourself on the streets don't go rolling round the floor with the attacker, finish him/them on your feet...that's the 'smart man's method of fighting' - Japanese JuJitsu would teach you this. All the best.

  • @TheMidnightOnline but bjj seems to beat Jap ju jitsu when every they compete, yet somehow jap JJ is better suited. If one trad m.a fighter cant take one mma fighter, how will he do better in the street against one attacker or multiple attackers.

Im not insulting trad MA's, just trying to give an opposite point of view. i think the best would be to practice both. But the muay thai porition of MMA should be able to handle your self defence needs, or the judo aspect of BJJ. - my opinion thus far

  • @TheMidnightOnline I don't know abou tthe whole "drop in the ocean"

    with mma one learns:

    striking (with 8 limbs)

takedowns (from Judo, Sambo, and mostly greco wrestling - due to the no gi factor)

and joint locks, chockes, sweeps, position control, and escaping from an inferior position

and sparring, the thing that has killed my ego the most is starting brazilian jiu jitsu, because you will get thrashed for at least your first year of a training, and someone with a high ego wont be able to handle

  • surprisingly beautiful.

  • choreographed but yet entertaining

  • Well done gentlemen!

  • Cool shit Jujitsu techniques :)

  • you should upload another Video of martial arts!! :DD

  • i like how in your "intro" about path of respect, humbleness and kindness you refer to people as douchebags and assholes

  • @moshorules nigga you mad

  • wicked video lads, your having fun and enjoying your training and for me that's what its all about. I love my jujitsu and always have fun at the club that's why I keep going back. I've watched this 5 times and think I will end up watching it another 10! Thanks for sharing with us. Cheers. :)

  • this is sick. what school of jujitsu did u study from? I've just started aikido a few months ago and love it. hopefully i'll be a fluid as you guys some day

  • omg 2:45 was sweeeeet!!!!!

  • I love jujitsu!

  • Great video, would not mind seeing a slow motion version of the same; but not the scroll text intro :)

  • Aikidoka: "Ah! Ah! Ah!"

    Judoka: "Oh, you alright..."

    Get throw by reversal

    Judoka: "Ah s**t!"

    Aikidoka: "Ha ha ha."

    No Openings

Anyway, great techniques, guys. I love these videos that show real training that's not just Hollywood garbage. Thanks.

  • nice...........

  • The Jujutsu-ka isn't pulling punches or playing around. His techniques were solid, he looked pretty fast and he seemed to slam real hard.

Gotta love how the Aikidoka gave him the bird at the end.

  • look so cool. Is this Japanese Jujitsu or sth else ?

  • i play aikido and from looking at the dude in hakama i can say that he isnt experienced because he is attacking

im practicing since 2 years now and i have never attacked any1

where is the eremy tenkan dude

  • @abu5ader Dick.

  • @raduz123 at least i have a 1

  • @abu5ader read description

  • i play aikido and from looking at the dude in hakama i can say that he isnt experienced because he is attacking

im practicing since 2 years now and i have never attacked any1

where is the eremy tenkan dude

  • To skip the intro go 1:13 :D

  • I like this, it's fun to watch and gives a more natuarl impression as to how certain moves flow as opposed to a one sided fight between an instructor and student of the same style where the student just overreacts to the instructors techniques. that's just my impression anyways.

  • What a fun video to watch. You guys looked like you enjoyed doing it too. I love the opening message. Thanks for sharing this video

  • I do not like the fuck finger in the end of clip

  • It would be cool if you made a video that showed off a little more aikido, great video btw

  • aww dude thats awesome :O

  • fuck, 59 secs of streamin wasted on the creds?

  • Amazing

  • This vid is great. Solid techniques guys. Really inspiring as I'm testing for Shodan in a month or so.

1 request for Mike. Can you upload another cut of that vid with the Star Wars intro taken out? Second, I'm waiting for a follow up video. Again, well done.

  • 2:47 Beautiful flying armbar

  • DUDE! THAT WAS TOTALLY NINJA!

  • Comment removed

  • I felt that take down at 01:40 from here and I'm in Australia :)

  • @locog42 lol

  • I'd like to see an Aikido demo as well

  • Was the blue guy Jiujetsu and the white with black pants Aikido?

  • @TheMartialartist100 blue guy is the jujitsu guy and the other guy in the hakama is an aikido guy

  • @TheMartialartist100 thats correct. amazing huh?

  • Very nice guys! Dynamic and solid technique!

  • This is how to train..awesome

  • @Brandontrann thanks for the advice, luckly i havent broken my arms in my martial art class yet so far

  • Very nice, I pratice aikido, i am noob, my dan is number one!

  • Wow. Very impressive.

  • fuck aikido, when there are judo, jujitsu. sambo

  • Good!

Keep your Guard Up especially within striking range.

  • As promised I would let you know when I got my shodan. I passed my grading last night.

  • @aaronkeeble18 Congratulations!

  • Very nice demo. Practical, direct and effective.

  • Are u alright? u alright? oh. . . shit! haha

  • Awesome stuff guys! I wish more people realized all the Jujutsu techniques come from true budo and was all originated in Japan. BTW I am an American........

  • This is a really nice high energy demo of great techniques and great ukemi. I only wish it weren't so one sided. Why not let the aikido practitioner submit the jujitsu guy a few times? This way you can show the beauty and power of both styles, since I'm sure you know it is pointless to argue which style is best.

  • Great video guys. Best thing about what you did here is that you made it fun. Make sure the next vids keep the same "Light" tone so i can throw this out to my kung pow crowd.

    Best Regards,

    Walt

  • great video! me and a few others take traditional jujitsu and use this video as a reference!

  • yo this is one of the best frekin vids out their you guys did a great job!!! good job the both of you the guy in the jujitsu uniform was movin a little like bruce lee does great job though most people dont know the differnce between brazilian jujitsu and the original japanese version all they know is brazilian because uts on UFC n all that stuff but like all your techniques guys great fuckin job!!! thumbs up =)

  • whose the jujitsu guy?

  • i do jujitsu myself and i must say use two are very good although theres some moves there i havent came across before. good video tho

  • the aikido guy is ver good but he should demonstrate pratical application of the techniques

  • nice technique, I would have to say about your opening that most MMA and UFC fighters have been some of the nicest athletes you'll ever meet and train with and work with.

  • um, can anybody tell me y was that aikido guy padding his chest like a gorilla?????

  • @TheDiseaseDevil That's probably a tapout. It a slap on flesh, so you can hear it better.

  • @TheDiseaseDevil can anyone tell why people call mma, mma? when its really just Krav maga these days? and he was "tapping out" or like I say, its getting a feel for what the pain would be like. ") these guys are awsome and great at what they do, don't discriminate against one's style.

  • @Hekigyoku1 i didnt discriminate either of these two guys really, and i wasnt talking about styles here since i did neither jujitsu or aikido, i was just curious...

  • @TheDiseaseDevil my apologie friend, I was just sick of ppl at that time.

  • Comment removed

  • I especially liked the aikido man transitioning into a sankyo and then a hip throw after his kotegaeshi pin was broken. Great example of how aikido techniques work can work spontaneously.

  • I loved the whole vid, but especially 2:58-3:03 hahaha. Good stuff.

  • I love you're intro, especially the part about public schooling. :)

  • What style of Jujitsu was that?

  • this was beautiful.Guys, you are excellent at doing this techniques

  • i see a lot of wing chun style strikes with the Jujitsu dude. =D very cool.

  • Mmmm they must be good in bed o.0

  • Great spirit.

  • hai kyang wen di hai kyang wen ih se nue qian kao di xiao tang jia si gu scheng zhe bai yuan bai ma bai tao san huang di qiang zhong hong mi jong xiao linn wo xia you jian dao sao de kun tai xiao wu rong yin kao kong fu tong fu dai fa kao you oh ke schang ming tang la mey hsing you huang schang zai ku bu xiao bai hu wang fu kong fu zue wa wo hua kai schuan yong dan dien yao hong chi hai

  • Hey Michael great work, My uncle pulled these techniques on me yesterday ha it was fun, cool video I give you 4 star!

  • I dont know how many times I said OUCH!

  • @HANGER187 I said it twice that day.. ;-)

  • I liked your demonstration, very nice, good job.

  • watching your video there are many techniques you're applying that are damn good. I honestly have watched it a few times and it is right on spot and I am finding things in your movements that I've overlooked or didn't realize was there..........thank you for that gentleman.

  • @houseofthetruewayma anytime!!! i just went and looked at another on of your videos learned two new techniques for myself lol
