i do actually, i consider death metal to be the best kind of music evr, i listen to bands such as Cannibal Corpse, Suffocation, Behemoth, Morbid Angel, Vengeful, Deicide, Bloodbath, Gojira, Necrophagist, Six Feet Under, Hate Eternal, etc. and these all use blast beats and growls

now if youve only heard songs from the subliminal verses and all hope is gone, then ya slipknot dont use it that much anymore, but take something from the album Iowa to see what i mean

Uhm, no it wasn't Sid. I've seen a Master Class video of Jim/Mick teaching the 2nd solo. I've seen many vids. I've also seen them live. Sid doesn't play the solo

sid never played guitar for the band, only craig did, but it was even before MFKR, and the other guitarists Slipknot had like Josh Brainard and Donnie Steele couldnt have played that cause theyre from the MFKR era, and Josh also recorded most of the self titled
