@airmedics05 Actually, they do live in many parts of Florida, I was there this past Summer & saw maybe 14 or 15 individual ones for an hour or so, it was awesome :).
You're totally right, they don't live here in Florida. I did see 2 of them down here in the past 8 yrs. But being from Up north I totally miss them. They're by far my fav too
I love this! You seem really cool too!! I was kinda scared one would bite me but you make it look like they dont so thanks, I only hope I see one. Can you name some states they are found in?
They are Gods gift to kids...something fun to do on hot summer nights! We all have childhood memories of catching them in a jar and sitting them on our night standt to look at all night long...LOL...I use to cut one or two lose in the house and maket he cats nuts...LOL
Hello! You're just so tender and i absolutely loved your description of this fantastic animal. I'm trying to make a video for class work, which consists on making a documentary teaser of something related to nature, and i'm going to talk about self-lightning in nature (I study advertising in Málaga, southern Spain) and i'd love to use some parts of your speech. Could I? Tell me please and thank you so much in advance. It doesnt have any commercial use or sth, its only for class.
u can find them in sweden but called "glow worms" kinda.. =) pretty cool tho how nature works

@TotalyStripes Pennsylvania, for one. Ohio. Michigan. I think Wikipedia has some more information about where they're found.
