just bought these for 434 dollars. it would have been 99 dollars cheaper but here in the damn US we need digital receiver to watch free local tv. bought the rear camera for 25 buck. also buy it from ebay since their website has a higher price for all the electronics.

what does double din mean?

it means the space occupied by the unit, a regular cd unit uses one din, and a flip out monitor uses one din as well, but this uses two din. . . some cars have one din while some have two. some have two but far away from each other (like Vauxhaul Astra 2002) hope i explained well enough!

i prefer the double dins it looks and fits neater

looks great! i just bought an 06 and am looking to install a stationary touchscreen like yours. I want to have the ability to connect a computer to it and have the receiver then act as my monitor/touchscreen. Ive been out of the car audio scene for a few years so im not really sure what is out there. do you have any ideas or know of any receiver out there than has that option? any help would be appreciated.. thanks for the video!

Bought this on Ebay for around $500 . Bought the dash retro kit from Ebay as well for $15. Installed myself no problem. Have installed rear camera and powered tv antenna now which is pretty nice. These units are all made from 1 or 2 Japanese companies. Search Ebay for "double din 7" dvd gps" and you will see.

no experience really needed. Pretty straight forward. Yes this unit plays media files from either sd card. It has 2 SD slots. Also has a usb port on the front so any USB stick or SD/USB adapter works for music, pics, movies etc... It's actually a computer running WindowsCE so you can play anything your computer will play.
