i know this isnt what you played but you can kinda play the bass intro completely on the low e string. the frets are in order they are played: 2,2,5,5,0,0,2,2,7,7,0,0,2,2. and you repeat util you start the guitar part.

thats not how u play it on bass...you play it like this.....2nd fret e string, then 5th fret e string, then open e string, then 2nd fret e string, then 5th fret a string, then open e string, then 2nd fret e string and repeat this... so just helping u out, try it on your guitar it will sound better, trust me im a bass player

Its the same way of playing it, you just have it on the one string, if you play 5th fret E string and open A is the exact same sound!!
