Low graphics quality? Maybe your running the game on an iGP or a really old GPU. I run the game in Ubuntu with a Radeon HD 3200 and it gets pretty clean graphics. It is amazing that the engine running this game, is based on the original Quake engine. They modified it so much. This game even has bump mapping (which was not a rendering technique back in the days of the orignal Quake).

How are the servers? Is this like, where you open the server list and there's only 1 or two dedicated servers up or is there a nice selection?

There's a fairly large selection, but for me, personally, there are only a few which have both an active community and within a decent ping range. It's free, so you might as well just let this download over night (It took me about an hour), set it up, which takes a few minutes of unzipping, no installation required otherwise, and check it out for yourself.

I've played Nexuiz since previous versions and the truth is that the last release has vastly improved the game, a great work by the developers I must say. To be a free game I think it has a lot of quality and I recommend it 100% ;D

The campaign isn't an actual like mission or anything, it's just a solo multiplayer match vs. bots. The game is great though, the graphics on Ultimate are insane.

LOL, If you think the reason a game is made in the Q3 engine is because it uses .pk3 files then you need to think again, oxy93n! Nexuiz is infact an extremely modified version of the Quake engine, if you took notice and looked at the site, it actually says it uses the Darkplaces engine, built on OpenGL technology, and it also supports .pk3 files, so please improve your knowledge. Also I agree .pk3 files are basically just renamed .zip folders used to store and run certain things.

Nexuiz kick arse!! I've met COOL nexuiz gamers online.. Most of time I play in Galts Minsta with Nex gun and grapple hook all the time. Also I love to play in 70mm13 maps. People should download this free game and PLAY it... IT will make you forgot about Quake 3. Nexuiz do not look same as Quake 3 at all. Good thing I don't want to buy games because Nexuiz is only one FREE game and its my favorite game. Nexuiz RU
