The way to kill this thing is pretty easy actually, but you need the right equipment. The Gauss Rifle from the Bootleg Brewery is essential. You'll need about 200 Microfusion cells as well minimum. Use the Stealth suit mk II and find a good position to attack the legendary bloatflyusing stalagmites to block his attack (you'll need to wait until the fly is in the right position). The guass rifle is quite accurate even at about 50 gun ability, but is slow rate of fire. Just keep pounding away.

I used A Light Shining in Darkness (Joshua Graham's pistol) with .45 Super (crafted at reload bench, you need a Repair skill of 80 and the "Hand Loader" perk) ammo to take this guy out. With the stealth suit and staying crouched down in the darkness at the higher part of the cave, the bloatfly didn't have a clue while I poured bullets at him. It took about, give or take, fifty bullets in a rapid semi-auto succession to kill the big guy.

@hardestband Nope. Did it before I hit level 20 with my unarmed character. Strafe a lot, use your buffing item. Thing is, as unarmed you WILL have picked up Super Slam, knocking the bloatfly down for free hits over and over.

Easiest way to kill him is to use Christine's COS Silencer Rifle with Armor Piercing Rounds. Just crouch and go around it. The shoot at it from behind. it will just do backflips after you shoot it in the face, mocking you that a headshot doesn't hurt it much. But I killed it in a minute without it touching me. Pretty noob, but I play in Very Hard, that thing would rip my nuts off.

I actually sneak attacked him with a ballistic fist with psycho, Yao guai meat and like every perk to defeat him. It did like only 500 or so damage, but pulled out my pew pew and did some rape. The first time I literally died in one hit, it sucked, then I had like like 14 hp before killing him the second time. For the giant robo scorpion, I used a combo of sonic emitter- revelations for paralysis and then used AP CZ57 Avenger with took him out in like 3-4 clips. Pretty good strategy.

@alfa999er Deathclaw is easy. You just have to be smart when making a class. You can 2-3 hit it with a sniper if you have the right ammo/perks. This, on the other hand, is a pain because of how mobile it is.
