  • i could destroy this guy

  • Is there a handle bar attachment to hold on too while pumping a hill standing up?

  • @royalconcrete1

You can get bullhorn bar ends

    thats about it

  • lol he stalled at :58 for while, shows hes a good rider

  • Nobody goes up steep rooted, rutted, rocky climbs, in any vids be it insturction or riding vids, the easy climbs like this are simple, the really hard stuff is bypassed on all vids, all vids show fast sections and skip the REAL climbs, I wish I could do that on a ride sometimes, I know it ain't pretty, but it's real, Michigan is so tight with trees there is only one line up and it's tough, show me how you tough guys handle that sometime..LOL!!

  • @manabiker Yeah, I know what you mean man. These are the types of climbs you can do just sitting on the bike. It is only when you get these steep hills with roots/rocks that it becomes a lot more dificult.

  • @manabiker I just had a race today in the Alpena area of Michigan, and the uphills get so steep in some areas it was quicker to jump off and hike, but i am still a beginning mountain biker, and thus was competing in the beginner clas.

  • @runestasevi I live in lower Mich, I found a sled hill here, I ride it a few times a week and it's helped my climbing and stamina big time, I try standing, sprinting, different gears, one side I haven't made it up yet, it keeps me going back LOL I also ride the Potowami Trail in Hell, Mi once a week, (rated 30 world wide) I'm improving 1 min a lap at Maybury,Novi,Mi I've been riding 3 months Maybury is 6+miles with everything in it,I did 3, 40 min laps last time out, standing is a manditory here

  • does anyone else have their screen covered in text?

  • @STACEYWURZER yep

  • if you want to conserve energy as he said, you'll save move by staying seated... standing up and cranking will drive more force into your fork and shock. Staying seated allows you to stay more energy efficient. This being said, there is a time and place for standing up and cranking. Situations where you need to get up short, steep, technical sections would be one of them where you need the fastest burst of speed.
