  • Ahhh Man..wow...all time fave!

  • I didn't know these guys could sing DAMN!.

  • there is no music better than 80's music!

  • can someone please tell me who is singing the vocals at each point of the song?

Judging from hearing their voices from when they rap:

It sounds like the opening is done by Kangol Kid

It sounds like at 1:38 Dr. Ice sings

It wounds like Kangol Kid sings again at 2:07

and i guess that Educated Rapper didnt' get featured on this song or is that him singing a small featured background vocal at 3:10 in Kangol Kid's part?

or is he just singing background vocals in general for this entire song?

  • I remember this song aswell, was my sister and her friends favorite songs back in the 1980's.

  • @appy85 Me too in love with my wife Jennifer forever..Dj King Slice

  • @appy85 - I like that! Thats smooth...

  • @appy85 ...if you fell in love when this song came out....and you're still together as of the time you posted this..that is INCREDIBLE !!!! I was a freshman in high school when this came out..now I'm 40 !!..that's 26 years!! WOW ! Congratulations !!

  • @jizzy310 Yep we are still together, still in love and we were just talking about how freakishly abnormal we feel at times around our friends but it feels soooo good! I am so blessed! I am 39 and he is 38! We were in middle school when we first fell in love!

  • @appy85 ..that is so WONDERFUL !! He truly was your fairy tale lover !! =P God Bless both of you !!

  • @appy85 that is so sweet

  • @realbeautyness25 thanks so much i am totally blessed!

  • @appy85 wow that is soo amazing!!!! that is such a blessing! you r an example that TRUE love really does exist!(:

  • @queenjazz1 Thank You and it does...he is my everything and I am his. Some people say its cause we are both each others first love..it's deeper than that. He always respected me even if he didn't understand me, and always put my best interest first. I went to college and he stayed home and he put 300 of his pay check in my account ever pay day just because my mom and dad said they would pay for school and nothing else. My husband has never denied me anything..that's real love. He's a fairytale.

  • @appy85 oh well thats so wonderful!(: im happy for u!!...thanks for sharing(:

  • @appy85 WOW. HOW BEAUTIFUL IS THAT. STILL TOGETHER. SINCE 86. JR. HIGH. CONGRATULATIONS TO THE BOTH OF U. U GUYS HAVE SO MANY THINGS TO LAUGH, CRY, THINK AND TALK ABOUT. FEW IN THE WORLD ARE AS FORTUNATE AS THE TWO OF U. I WISH U MANY MORE DAYS.

  • @appy85

    Awww, that's so sweet!

  • wow check out da snare! definitely ol skool! this song reminds me of the girl i was crazy about. At 11 years old!

  • All I have to say is 9th grade "SLOW DRAGGIN"..at the house parties back n the day ....LOL.

  • @kalonzohart - hey you see that title you used "slow draggin" you have got to be from the south and definitely old school. i love it. these kids today don't know anything about that. it's a lost art today.the 80's were the greatest era of music ever, along with the 70's. all these thugs today rap about is their dicks, cars, guns, bling, money, strip clubs, and other repetitive garbage that has no purpose or value.thank god for the 70' and 80'.

  • @str8outtatexas1 LOL....Oh yeah I'm a Georgia Boy and they pumped this song alot on Vee 103 here in Atlanta back in '85. These younger katz today are missing out on alot when it comes to good music. I feel sorry for them sometimes. I have 3 teen age daughters and all they and their friends do is listen to "our music" like this on their Mp3 players. real talk.

  • I was 16 in 1985 and danced my first slow song dance with my first love to this! I can't listen to this song without thinking of him

  • OMG....holy blast from the past!!!

  • YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Miss Bunny

  • 7th grade ashland. thank god for asbestos removal..

  • Ok looking at them now they look mad gay but.....I was loven them back in the 80's lol they were the shiz-nit!

  • I didn't know they sang this? I actually didn't know WHO sang it.

  • Awesome...ppl hate because they wanted to share all of their talents with the world.

  • This is a beautiful song still to this day.

  • I don't think they look gay. As long as the women loved it, that is all that matters.

  • This record was the beginning of the end for UTFO.

  • How ws it the end when they made 4 more albums that sold big.

  • I agreed! UTFO are legends and this song is all that!

  • Name the albums because from my recollection they were on the verge of falling off in the late 80s.

They basically left their rap roots alone when they tried to go the R&B route. The same thing also happened to Whistle.

  • man this is when music was music.

  • This was my wedding song. Very different we loved it!

  • Truly a song that will never go away. Listened to it over and over again 25-30 yrs. ago. Thank you so much for posting it. I've sung it over the years but I never dreamed I'd be listening to it again. Gives me that good feeling. Slow dancing with the girl I loved. Right back in school with all my friends - the innocence of youth -AAhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh ;- )
