yeah, i agree that breakdowns got WAYYYYY out of hand for awhile in the metal scene the last decade. metalcore music was really popular, although the talent is very lacking in most of them. when you get metalheads who know how to blend the hardcore riffs and metal riffs together like unearth though...man.

No, the most badass breakdown ever is in the song Romance is Dead by Parkway Drive. It gets slow, completely stops all music and the singer goes SO CRY ME A FUCKIN RIVER.... BITCH!!!!!! it reminds me of the curbstomp part in American History X thats how badass it is. I wuld check it out!
