  • very nice!

  • Great performance! Working on it myself and it's very difficult. Again good job

  • You should add that it is the Second Bottesini Concerto in the description/title.

  • Ian even after a few years this still sounds wonderful.

  • yes he should be more in tune....but is a good execution

  • Better in tune??? I hope you aren't a bassist, because you have no idea how difficult this concerto is if you aren't, and for that matter no idea how difficult it truly is to be in tune on the instrument.

    Kudos to your performance, Ian.

  • could be more in tune, but otherwise good. youll become a better bass player once you learn to stop looking at your hand as well.

  • he's playing from memory anyway, so surely it doesnt matter where he looks?

  • it's a great cadenza, is this the edgar meyer version because it sounds like it. either way great job

  • no, this is regular cadenza

  • It's funny to watch the conductor try to hush the violins. Normally if the bass section is decent, it's the other way around..lol.

  • This is really awesome. Love the Cadenza. That's the kind of style I make my cadenzas and my improvisations, except mine are way less in tune and suck more. That was kick ass dude. This is the stuff tat makes me love bass.

  • very creative cadenza. Also very nice vibrato and tone. Very enjoyable!

  • whoa! see, this is why I love bass!

  • it must be a joke!!!!!!

  • I don't understand...

  • I loved the cadenza. Bravo!

  • Yeah, Ian! ^_^_^_^_^_^_^_^
