I'm black and I was never spanked as a child and I wouldn't have thought about acting like that pure brat! There are non-physical ways to discipline a child but in my opinion if you rear a child with boundaries and respect for you, you won't end up with a kid that that thing. The problem with that woman is that her child has no boundaries, she wouldn't even demand he stop saying shut up.
