Nope in the lower voices and trumpets there is definatley a tuning issue lol. Tubas sound..I can only describe it as blasty, eventhough they're not blasting most of the time. Blendign needs some work. Near the end woodwinds, especially clarinets and oboes have discordanance. All in all a great piece played very well.
no it doesn't... i could dig up Holst out of the grave and choke him for failing to resolve that beautiful melody, and for instead throwing it off into the confused crap that he did. i constantly am looking for orchestral versions that resolve.
what is that blasting sound. i think i heard from the trombone. maybe its just the way the song is played, its around the 1.45 till the end....sounds weird, but maybe its just the way it should be played...
that blasting noise is coming from the trombone player next to the tuba, it probably give's a more rich sound to the orchestra, but it should have sounded a bit more less the blasting part :P but it sounded good:P

at :53, the euphonium player and the alto sax player are puffing they're cheeks out. that's bad posture haha sorry i'm a big band geek. check out some of my videos from Valley Lutheran Symphonic Band. we played this song for a concert.
this was really great. If only the bass trombonist didn't get gross 2:17-2:40 :/
