QUEEN did it first and best,period.(speed metal riffing in the 70's) god rest Freddies beautiful soul.wish he'd come back magically and bring Hendrix,B.Jones,Bonham,Layne Staley and Dimebag with him and give us some long awaited quality rock and roll.but for now we can only hope for something to come along and turn this sh*theap on it's head.

@KasparsKo their later stuff was more "pop" really not this. This is metal! One thing I would say about Queen is they were a commercial band but they did what they wanted like they wouldn't make a bunch of crap and put it out because they thought they would make lots of money from it. Queen make real music and just never seem to amaze me. They did their own thing and well they didn't copy people. Well not sure how people call Queen pop I call them music. Anyway take care mate :)

I think this would have to be the best performance, 74 is great but alittle sloppy and slow overal thou has mre soloing from brian than 77, 77 apart from mic problems is a very close 2nd althoug much faster paced, closest thing to album ver, does lack that epic instrmntal middle that this one has, more soloing less rifts frm brian, this has best backing vocals and 76 good but not great freddie forgets some vocals

IMO Queen 2 is there best album ever. I remember my friend coming over my house to get high. He was holding a couple of albums(this was in 74) one of them was Queen 2. He told me they were cool , but I might not like them, because everyone was into Zep, I was too but I told him to lend it to me when I heard I was blown away. I've been a Queen fan since.
