there was a club in Manhattan Beach ,,, CA the Turf and Sand ... with pianist Jay Rudd ... he was great with this song ... heard him sing it many times ... so many great memories about the 1950s in the beach towns ..met my beautiful Virginia there ... she was a pianist and could sing her favorites ...like My Funny Valentine and other ballads ..married 55 years ..that is all ..richard lud

Fiona Apple's recording moves me more, because Frank's voice says "This is a show". Fiona's voice however says "This is life".
